50...props to ya. I'm 30 and I feel old compared to the kids these days...the shoe game definitely isn't the same as it was 10-20 years ago. Back in elementary school, I remember begging my mom to buy me all the J's when they first came out. They were like $70-80 and those were considered soooo expensive haha but I guess I was lucky enough to get a few back ithen. I remember walking into Footlocker as a kid and trying them on like any old pair of Nike's. No such thing as selling out haha, different story today.

Thanks! I wish I was still 30 but remember that age and like you, feeling that my youth was behind me. It was definitely a different era when the I - XIV OGs were coming out, before the internet and the retro ago. I am glad that we are now able to cop shoes that, back in the 90s, seemed to be gone forever.

At 42 the game/hobby is really fun with my two sons. I was on the sideline for a while until they got older and interested in "shoegame". Discussing with them the history, OG colorways, industry, and performance is the best. Expensive, but the best. We cop 100% online. When all 3 of us want a pair we set up an e-camp with 3 laptops, ipad and phone. They come downstairs at 6:30 we have a strategy and get to clickin! No bots-No ATC service. We are usually successful on both GR and limited releases. When they start volunteering to do chores I know they have their eye on a release coming up! Wife seriously wants us to find a cheaper way to bond-

Great story! Awesome that you are able to get your kids involved in Jordans. I don't have kids but my wife thinks my hobby is cute and she helps out with the raffles.

Got my shipping confirmation and the shoes are expected on Thursday! Pics have gotten me more excited about these, I'm now quite glad I copped them even at $200.

Thanks! My wife thinks our hobby got a little less cute about 10 pair ago! We compromise. She's enjoying her new bracelet and purse. Enjoy the 13s! Next for us looks like grey toes, VIs, (for me) and a family cop of Legend Blue XIs for XMas.

200 is ok.

not ok if you're planning on copping up coming releases this year tho lol.

i still got slamdunk 6s $250!, black infrared 6s, columbia 11s $200*, black/white 1s* on my list for this year lol

I think nikes inventory system was glitching again on these. i noticed way after the drop that you could add a pair to cart and then edit tye sz in cart and add sizes that werent on the drop page anymore. im sure that caused some cancellations for people.

Aaaah makes sense. Cheap, greedy Nike. Same old *** servers. Same old *** factories and machines. Same old *** product to some people and all that money.

The 6s are sore spot with me: 14 years ago at the dawn of the retro age, I had a chance to buy them in store on release day but thought twice and passed. Changed my mind and went back to the store the next day but they were sold out, and sold out EVERYWHERE. Never got them. That has stuck in my craw since 2000 and so this time I around I am determined to get them!

Looking forward to the grey toes in a few weeks as well.

And that's funny you mention your wife's purses. My wife is a massive handbag freak, and part of our deal is that for every $180 pair of Jordans I get, she gets to spend $300 on some "Doony and Burk" or whatever handbag. She has about 40 of those but her appetite is insatiable, LOL.

Got a pair in store for the homie Saturday, flawless
Got home tonight and the online pair was on the porch.
Opened them up and they had glue all over the 3M(same as the 5labs).
Pulled out an old sock.
Pulled out the wd40.
Flawless
Point is, I was mad at first sight because my pair was busted but I remembered how the 40 worked on the 5lab so it mattered none
Nice little trick

Two daughters who could give two craps about Jordans. I tried and tried to get them interested. "Anytime you want any shoe just let me know, and Daddy will get it"...failed miserably. They'd rather American Girl dolls  I do have two nephews, one who is close enough to my shoe size that he is able to fit some of my shanks. My shanks being when I buy a 10.5 because I hear a traditional model runs big only to find that I need my true size. I will say, giving someone who is in high school a pair of Jordans out of the blue for no reason is awesome. You would think I had given the young man a million bucks. He was literally speechless. Lil nephew was mad of course. I tell him if his foot gets bigger I will take care of him. A pair of Lebrons made that conversation go easier. Damn spoiled kids:rofl:

Wish my parents bought me Jordans growing up, sigh...

But I guess not having to take out student loans at times makes up for it lol.

 This is dope.
I take great pleasure in buying the nephews their kicks for Sports. This is the One thing I do like to brag about TBH, and you know they come running when it's Xmas time, they expect the dope gifts from me.

Haven't checked this thread since the night before RD. Only like 3 pics of finalized orders and about 6 pages of arguing

will that fix this???

That just looks like a water spot or liquid. It should wipe right off with water and a rag/sock.

Don't be afraid to put water on these, it won't hurt them.

But if that is glue, the 40 will definitely do the trick.

Just put a little on a the sock or rag and brush over it. Try just water first, should work.
