Steve Stoute went out of his way to downplay 50 Cent’s accomplishments during a interview last week with Angie Martinez and exclude him from his list of the top 5 most influential people in hip hop.

“I feel like he’s always gearing up for something that never happens,” Stoute told Angie.

50 came face to face with Stoute during a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Friday (February 28). Looks like Steve was coping a plea? Where was the NBA mic when we needed it…

He's mad someone didn't talk about him? C'mon man, it's his opinion.

And who goes to Knicks games? :x

They all hate 50 cause he doesn't play industry games.

A song with Eminem and Adam Levine not topping/near-topping Billboard charts? Please.

Yeah, radio doesn't wanna play him because the higher ups don't like him. His last few mixtapes have been solid efforts.

- Though the song was like #27 or so, the song just wasn't very good. It screamed "Please please play this on the radio, I need help"

- No they haven't  they've been fairly mediocre

As much as I think 50 isn't that good of a rapper, matter of fact after GRODT he's been garbage, dude is beyond payed and owes nothing to nobody

They were by no means GRODT.

Why was he upset?

Because it was the truth

Me personally, Steve Stoute appeared to go out of his way to talk about 50 Cent and also it appeared Hot 97 wanted to stir something up. As for the music he might have not had nothing that was mainstream acclaimed however he was putting out some solid music. I don't care what no one says the War Angel EP was a hard @ss album. If you running your mouth just be prepared to get dealt with the truth or not. Just like TJ talkin about NY was it the truth sure it was but for you to talk about something that doesn't have nothing to do with you expect some consequences. I'm glad 50 saw Stoute next time he'll know not to try talk ish like he can't get checked.

It's so funny cause people are quick to say "Stoute told the truth about 50 that's why he's mad", which may be true.

But it's extremely rare for a rapper to actually go to the source of the problem and confront it rather than talk **** on the radio then be all buddy-buddy next time they see the other.

That's why I've always liked 50.
