2016 Audi TT - Starts @ $42,900

i'd drive it.

*kanye shrug*.

Are ya'll just calling it a chick car cause it's small?
Nah. I would say it has a very cutesy look, something usually attributed to a "girly car."

Typically a "manly car" is either a rugged and tough vehicle like a pick-up, or something out of James Bond.

Man the TT has potential if they would just make it more sporty/aggressive. Rather drive a Z.

If you can afford that car you shouldn't be worried about gas mileage tho.

Such an idiotic mentality.

1) Just because you can afford doesn't mean you should just fork over your money for it.
2) Who the hell wants to or has the time to stop at the gas station every 2-3 days?

When buying a supercar gas mileage should be the last thing man.

Most if not all will get you under 20 highway.

And who uses it as their daily/primary vehicle ...

Exactly, I don't consider the R8 as a classic/super car that you keep as a garage queen. You buy it, you drive it as much as you can. Why would I want to do anything less than that? I don't remember the Audi salesman telling me I could only drive it sometimes.

My friend dailys a GTR, which gets similar mpg, and it's ridiculous to go to the gas station twice a week because I don't care how much they say you get on highway miles, living in northern NJ/NYC, you're only gonna get city mpg out your car, let's be serious.

If gas mileage is a concern you shouldn't be looking at any 10cyl cars... Period.

I swear NT has to be the most vehicularly ignorant group of people on the internet

You SHOULD have gas in the back of your mind, but it literally should be the last thing on your mind.

Youre getting an R8/GTR/whatever and you have the nerve to complain about gas? Those cars are NEVER a necessity, but a HUGE luxury. If you can afford those cars, you must have all your other priorities in check and have the extra money for it, and you still complain about its MPG?

If its visiting the gas station cmon son, getting gas takes about 5 min. Youre gonna be driving off in an R8 anyways, that should feel boss in any case.

Point taken, but I guess I'm just in the minority. I liked the car, I could afford it, but was turned off by the thought of 11 mpg, I don't know what else to say? I just find it silly I'd be paying that much for a car that I can't enjoy everyday without knowing all of my gas station attendants on a first name basis

"pay to play", I guess.

Pay to play would be a great way to put it I guess. Wasn't trying to knock on you at all. Just an opinion.

You want a Supercar with good MPG, get a Porsche 918, about 85-95 mpg.

Trust me, I never take any offense on here. Your guys points were valid. My chips are all in with the next Supra though. I'm anxiously awaiting official specs.
