UPDATE: Its with great pleasure to announce that Troop is officially back! Its also my pleasure to let you guys know that some dope stuff is planned for release down the road with attention to detail a priority. I've had the chance to see some of the samples and they look good. Here are the latest that will drop (you've probably seen them on social)

This thread may go over a lot of peoples heads but I figured there had to be some dudes that remember and actually liked this brand. I have a ton of other photo's will upload in the coming weeks. Remember when Troop, British Knights ands SPX were all on the shoe racks............

throwback indeed. I remember my father having a coupe of pairs of Troops back in the day.

BK actually had some funky fly sneakers.i had the pair with the basketball needle on the side.i used to poke holes in the bottom of my friends milk and watch them try to argue to get a new one lol.

never owned any troops tho.....it was more of a 80s brand right?

Yep, appreciated as always Tre

BK, SPX and Troop were pretty much all of the same ilk. The height of their popularity was late '80s-early '90s, all around the same kind of price bracket and all shared a similar philosophy to their designs ...basically, let's plaster our logo over the products as much as possible.

Cool at the time, but don't think I could get away walking around dressed head to toe in that gear these days

Not many will know what this thread is even about

I wanted Troops, had British Knights

Now I realize how gaudy they were. The Troops and British Knights I liked were more simple. They started jumping the shark as they went on.

Off topic, but in those catalogue pages I just LOVE those Cons (the 100s and the Aeroglides). I hope Converse/Nike decide to bring those back one day.

Peace,

Mid-late 00's for the AF1 looking stuff. They just did the Derrick Coleman Dymacels recently. I missed out on a pair of the BK AF1's that I really wanted because I messed around and just never got around to ordering. Oh well.

Peace,
J

I see. I wanted them white light grey high tops with the elephant looking print but never got around to buying. Totally forgot. They were on deep discount too

Yep. I wanted the pair that had the dark royal instead of the Grey. Had that pair as a kid. I just slept on em.

Peace,
J

Also retro'd again around 2008 (I believe the early 2000's licensee was different) with some of companies better models. This go around has been pretty disappointing.
