The WWE Network Thread VOL. 9.99

Do I need to get my name down in the list to partake? I don't have great historical knowledge of PPV's but I'd love to watch new **** on the network and discuss.
 
guys I missed in the other thread how we are going about choosing which ppv we will be watching. .. DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican can you shed some light? I really want to be part of
this.
 
@zube42 , You don't have to add your list unless you want to present a show for everyone to watch.

Check my sig. But you are 3rd on the list. In short, when it is your week you tell us to watch something from the Network. We spend 2 weeks discussing it. It is 2 weeks because that is enough time to make sure everyone watches.. So right now we are on SS 95

ok sounds great thanks! so this is being strictly discussed in this thread correct ? I hope people are up late nights (east coast) that's when I do most of my network watching and niketalking.
 
Imma get started on SS 95. I'll edit this post as I finish up the show.

First match up: jobbers vs. jobbers. The hair in this match is :lol: :x

Despite how goofy these dudes look, all of em could go except for Barry Horowitz. Some nice moves were pulled off here... loved the top rope powerbomb from Jannetty. They gave them a bunch of time and everybody went to work. 7.5/10

Second match: Joshi showcase :pimp:

Nice little spotfest here. They definitely went slower and dumbed things down a little for the American audience but we still got some nice spots including the BACKDROP DRIVER. Aja Kong is a beast.. 7/10

Third match: Goldust vs. Bam Bam Bigelow

First dud of the night... Goldusts attire was straight up foul :x also, his boring, randy orton-esque offense damn near put me to sleep. 4/10

Fourth match: King Mabels team vs. Takers team
Yup this match was the one that put me to sleep :lol: Wasn't that good tbh aside from seeing HHH, Kane, and Rikishi be a bunch of jabronis. That countout finish too...5/10

:x :x That Bam Bam/Goldust match was pure agony. It's like 12-15 minutes of 2 guys (at the time) who definitely should be in long matches. Stalling, restholds, and just overall nothing that stands out. Have always liked Goldust and Bam Bam, but that match showed nothing at all from them. Unfortunately, 94 and 95 had a lot of that.

yea that was definitely one of the better womans matches ive ever seen,those girls were nothing to look at tho jeez,i rather watch sexys divas wrestle honestly even if most of them suck, lol 

thats golddust vs bambam match almost made me stop watching the entire ppv. lol nah but yea they should of made that a backstage brawl or some ****

undertakers team vs team royal was ehh,team royal had a good decent squad.cool to see kane and taker in the ring before kane was kane lol @ issac yankem.
 
ok so far after the first match I wonder why anyone in the history of mankind would ever grow a mullet. like seriously how
is that not the worse haircut ever known to ever exist. and in wrestling 8/10 guys had them.

but anyway we got to see a little but
of Louie spicolli who was a talented kid who just succumbed to his demons and lost a uphill fight at too young an age. but as far as the match their was some nice before their time highspots. especially for 1995 wwf. 1-2-3 was really good.

I just happened to skim through the Network the other day and came across it. At this time I had stopped watching wrestling but I remember Bret getting the belt back was a huge deal to me. This was a pretty solid card and the crowd was really into most of the matches.

Peep Diesel's reaction after he lost the belt :rofl:.

These women can wrestle.  So many great spots in this women's match. Towards the end it got a little sloppy but still better then anything WWE has going on in that division now.
 
Good discussion so far. I won't probably get a chance to watch until a few days. Finishing up my semester man. Editing 2K rosters.
 
Will likely begin watching on Wednesday, if not tomorrow. Tryna see this top rope powerbomb by Marty asap tho.
 
back to ss ... goldust was a crazy gimmick. especially for the direction wwf was going in 95. I remember as a kid when they would
show the vignettes for him.
