NBC is coming down like a hammer on celebs who want to get on Jimmy Fallon's show ... if they dare do a show on CBS or ABC ... they can forget about "The Tonight Show."

Sources connected to CBS, NBC and ABC tell TMZ ... the Peacock network believes Jimmy Fallon's ratings success gives them extreme bargaining power. They put the word out to celebs, agents and publicists ... if they want to be on Fallon they can't appear on ANY other network ... and not just shows that go head-to-head with Jimmy, but morning shows as well.

We're told NBC is saying the stars who go on Fallon are also allowed to appear on "Today," "Dateline" and any similar shows they air, but that's it.

A GMA source tells TMZ ... they've already gotten fallout from people they were trying to book.

Fallon is dominating late night .... crushing Jimmy Kimmel by bringing in more than twice the number of viewers.

Is NBC even serious with this? Who's running the show over there that they would make this move? This is one of the dumbest things NBC could do.

That's not going to work with A-list actors.

this.

if a superstar decides to go on another channel and then wants to come back a couple of months after for his new movie or something, are you really going to say no?

Ehh.. if this is true we'll see them change their tune soon enough. Fallon likely won't dominate the ratings that much where you'll see a majority of A-list stars just ignoring Kimmel and Letterman.

Still haven't saw an episode of The Tonight Show with Fallon.

Even though I'm not the biggest Conan fan I'm still tight how wrong the did him.

I didn't realize Fallon was dominating in the ratings as much as he was.

Jimmy Fallon is wack. Ratings are high cause he's new but ultimately they'll fall.

**** NBC for how they did my boy Conan

I like fallon, but yeah they did coco wrong...he alright doe, still got his own show plus he's hosting the mtv awards this year

All of these companies are so damn corrupt as if they don't make enough money already...:smh:

He also laughs at his own jokes. He was annoying on SNL Weekend update too.
People seriously watch him cuz he has the Roots and plays popular songs with kids instruments? Seriously!?! Seriously!?!

Fallon has an interesting style. He's just having fun. He knows the power of a great segment or video, making clips and segments that you'll be checking Youtube the next day for. He's not a great stand-up comedian so his monologue's are weaker, he's not a great interviewer, but he's solid in other aspects.

It's not for me, but I appreciate what he's doing.

NBC desperate as hell as usual.

They actually try to keep this up and they'll come to see all of the big draws to movies are on Conan, Kimmel, and Letterman and it'll get to the point where even Craig will get some spill over from stars he isn't friends with.

I only peep Fallon for the funny skits and games where are around Kimmel level funny (when he's not just using youtube material). Neither of them are really better than Letterman and none of them can reach the superior level of Craig Ferguson :smokin
