If all players on current NBA teams were in their primes, who would be best?

Nets would wash EVERYBODY.

Lakers close 2nd

Spurs 3rd

Nobody's mentioned the Warriors

Lee, Curry, Klay, Jermaine O'neal (!), Bogut, Steve Blake

Can't Sleep on that squad

I am a die hard Warriors fan.....and I am sleeping on this squad.  In no way shape or form is this team competing with teams like the Spurs, Nets, Heat, Lakers.  No chance.

do the heat still have rashard lewis? if so them.  i would also consider okc.  we don't even know what their big 3's prime is yet and i wouldn't underestimate what a prime fisher and perkins bring to a team.  plus guys like lamb and jackson have some nice potential.

nets r nice but i have a hard time seeing prime joe johnson and paul pierce coexist.  can't have two slow motion dudes on the floor at the same time.
it wouldnt be like dwade and lebron struggling to coexist

joe johnson is a natural pushover and probably just end up standing around spotting up for 3s

we should make a thread for all time great all prime teams

96-97 rockets

04 lakers

13 lakers

06 heat

14 nets

14 heat

Nets with ease

Deron
Piece
JJ
Garnett
Lopez
Kirilenko

player coach jason kidd

Why are the '13 Lakers being mentioned? Kobe and Pau would kill most teams but Nash ain't defending no PG in their prime :smh:

the 13 lakers would have 0 problems on defense with prime kobe, ron artest and dwight

nash and pau doing work on offense and jameson coming off the bench

Nobody mentioned them cause there so loaded with young guys who aren't even near their peak yet. Jermaine O'Neal is a tough one though. And trolling mentions aside, Steve Blake has need a career long mediocre player who has done fairly well in his role.

Dam my bad im thinking about 13-14 Lakers

With that starting 5 they will lay out an onslaught easily

that means the thunder would have perkins, fisher and tough juice in their primes..

then if we assume a players prime isnt until they reach 27 or 28.. well we have a couple more years to go before these guys reach that point: KD, russ, ibaka, lamb, PJ3 and adams

you guys do know that while a lot of these fantasy teams are just fantasy teams, the spurs prime team actually happened right?

and they were very beatable

A lot of y'all sleeping on the Heat.

PRIME D Wade with PRIME Ray Allen as his backup/ 6th man?

I think a lot of y'all forget what prime Wade and prime Jesus looks like.

Bron being Bron with PRIME Shard Lewis as his backup?

Ray and Shard would get 45 a game off the bench alone.

Upgraded Bosh.

Fresh UD, Shane and Bird to do all the dirty work.

Ohio State Greg Oden would be a problem as a rim protector.

I'm taking the Heat over everyone.

The only team with a chance to contend with prime Heat is the Nets.

I'm still taking the Heat every time.

They still have the best player on the court and I'd play him at the 1 for majority of games.
