Well at least we won 2 out of 3 in Washington. What was up with Glavine today? Did he leave with injury? I'm trying to watch on Gamecastand couldn't tell.

That previous series against Colorado was god awful.

thanks to the braves for gift wrapping the win with those bases loaded walks...it's much appreciated. thought we were gonna blow it.

now it's onto shea stadium to sweep the mutts! millz returns to shea to torture his former team. i can't wait! should be interesting to see what kindof response he gets. he's gonna make the mutts regret the day they traded him, that trade will forever live in infamy.

Ive been to 3 games this year.....including the one yesterday....

It is hilarious to see how pissed people were with Willy Mo Pena, that guy is such a bum. He made Manny look like a good fielder last year in Boston. He almostlost the Nats the game yesterday, I will always boo him when he gets up and he continues to make the same mistakes that he made in Boston, pissing off anotherfan base.

) he grounded into in the 1st. Killed that rally. Coulda had 4-5 in the firstalone!

Dukes is way better then Pena, Pena is a terrible fielder. GREAT STRENGTH, but he isnt a ball player, he plays the game like a big strong guy who canbench 400 pounds but doesnt have a good eye. He CAN NOT hit a curve ball to save his life, never has been able to. If he gets around on a fastball, yea, he isgoing to cream it, but most of the time he is going to strikeout or ground out.

Watching him play when he was on the Sox was soooo painful, but I dont live in New England anymore so I go to tons of Nats games, and I cant stand seeing himin person. Bum. Plain and simple.

Since they were announced as the new owners of the Washington Nationals in May 2006, the relatives of real estate magnate Ted Lerner have been consistent with their pledge to build the on-field product methodically through an ask-for-patience approach, one heavy on scouting and development, low on splash. But after the first homestand at Nationals Park, it appears off-field growth -- in the stands of their plush new mansion -- might take time, too.

Through seven home games -- a small sample, to be sure -- the Nationals have averaged 28,214 tickets sold, which is the way Major League Baseball officially reports attendance. That average, at this early point in the season, ranks 20th among the 30 major league clubs and is about 5,400 fewer than what the club wooed to run-down RFK Stadium in 2005, its first year in town. Sports marketing experts say the early-season attendance reflects the difficult challenges the Nationals face in a crowded market.

^Plus the summer hasn't officially started yet, lots of kids are still in school, weather isn't as nice, etc etc. Not to mention the team isn'tthat good

Its still pretty cold out, April isnt really a good judge of how the season is going to go with a team as far as attendance. Plus a couple of those home gameshave been played the same nights as Capitals playoff games.

It will pick back up.
