WHAT A REFRESHING NIGHT OF NATIONALS BASEBALL!!!

PEREZ NOT ONLY GETS HIS OVERDUE FIRST WIN BUT GOES 3/3 AND 2 RBI!

L MILLZ FINALLY COMES THROUGH VS HIS FORMER TEAM WITH A 2 RUN DOUBLE, JUST BARELY MISSING A HOMER!

JESUS FLORES, THE CATCHER OF THE FUTURE, WITH A BACK BREAKING DOUBLE!

I SAID THIS WEEK IS A MAKE IT OR BREAK IT WEEK FOR OUR SEASON, AND WE'RE GONNA RIGHT THE SHIP AND TONIGHT WAS A CLEAR STEER IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

TOMORROW NIGHT, LANNAN WILL DUPLICATE THE DOMINANT OUTING HE HAD LAST TIME VS THE MUTTS.

DO I SMELL A 4 GAME SWEEP COOKING?!

I liked the enthusiasm tonight from the Nationals dugout they were cheering each other all night.

haha ya, my dude dukes was starting the "lets go ______________! clap, clap," chants. gotta love the enthusiasm on the bench. "figgy"was getting fired up too, had him rattled.

great game tonight. nice hitting, hitting with runners in scoring position. always gives us a chance to win. plus perez put in a solid outing on both sides ofthe ball.

haha, the cheering really hurt "figgy's" feelings:

And even after exiting the game, Figueroa decided to attempt a few more shots, upset about what he felt was exaggerated cheering from the Nationals' dugout.

"They were cheerleading in the dugout like a bunch of softball girls," Figueroa said. "I'm a professional just like anybody else. I take huge offense to that. If that's what a last-place team needs to do to fire themselves up, so be it. They could show a little more class, a little more professionalism now that they won tonight, but in the long run, they're still who they are."
them sounds like fightin' words!

i DARE them toretaliate and try to beam dukes (since he was the leader). i DARE any mets pitcher to try it. dukes would go back to his linebacker days and drop that pitcherfor a 5 yard loss.

i don't see what the big deal was. ya coordinated cheering is rare in the majors, but it was cold and crappy out and dukes was just trying to liven up thedugout and keep active/warm.
