Jones > Milledge

Markakis > the entire Nats roster

shoot, I'd take Ryan Minor at this point over Elijah Dukes....

after the climatic win to start the series i thought things were setting upnicely for a sweep, instead we lost the next two.

bergmann is a bum, who is 26 years old and balding severely.

at least my dude dukes continues to beast 2/4 (triple, double) 2 RBI SB

this series @ seattle will truly measure how much we suck...

phew, it's never easy with the nats. we broke the game wide open 7-1, and then let the mariners creep back. in the end, we escaped, and a win is a win.

1 down, 2 more to go vs the lowly (only team we can call lowly) mariners, we need to sweep em.

and i know why we didn't score another run after the 2nd inning outburst, its not because the mariners bullpen was befuddling us, it was because they weresaving some offense for the rest of the series.

clip gets his second start Saturday which he deserves. i think clip will shut em down. hes got some FILTHY stuff, just needs to cut down on the walks but ithink he was a little jittery in his nationals debut. clip will be more calm this time and he'll dominate.

i know i'm getting a little carried away after sweeping the lowly mariners, but i am titling this as THE RESURGE. i understand we're still 13 gamesunder, but i think the team can get back to a respectable record and possibly .500. by the all star break.

anyways, lannan vs my dude livo (

) in the first game. i get emotionalevery time livo pitches against us. he'll forever be my favorite nationals/expos pitcher of all time. i always admired the effortless way he pitched. iknow it's been 2+ years since we dealt him but it's awkward every time he goes against us. he should be back in a nationals uniform, not some randomtwins uniform

however, as much as i love livo, i hope we light him up for 5+ runs.
