Fan of Hendrix. I will watch. The focus of the movie is more so on him pre-fame than the Jimi everyone came to know, which is why they're able to get away with just the cover songs.
 
Nah...one of my favorite rappers, one of my favorite rock and rollers...looks like a B movie, downgraded to C because of the lack of songs...why not just wait to get the approval? No need to rush, his legacy ain't going anywhere.

They aren't rushing, though. Look up the backstory on the production. This movie has been in the works for a couple years.
 
If they can't wait to get the Songs cleared, they are rushing. Eventually, estates almost always give up the rights. Be patient...doesn't change the fact this looks like a B movie...

Dont hold your breath, the estate wanted to be hands on from almost every angle. Since the studio said no, the estate said no assistance no music

Money Talks bs walks...three stacks should have walked until the estate stopped tripping. In like five years, when a major studio does this production and they get the rights to the songs, no one will remember three stacks version....and honestly he's the only one I wanted to play that role.

I know I'm going to get bashed for saying this, but during those 5 years they should teach Wiz Khalifa how to act and play the guitar.

His resemblance to Jimi is uncanny, like there has to be some type relation in the blood line. Plus wiz is closer to the actual age when Jimi died.
