The Jordan 11 is one of the most popular models created by Jordan Brand, so it's no coincidence that it is highly produced in Grey Market factories. In this thread, we will explain how to tell if a shoe is Grey Market, with pictures and a checklist.
Common Signs of Grey Market 11's:
- Stretched 23
- High Patent Leather Cut
- Rounded Midsoles
- No yellowing (applies to concords, spacejams, and cool greys)
- Upper material is smooth and shiny
NOTE:
- Cool Greys, Concords & Gammas have milky toecaps that you should not be able to see through.
- Space Jams, Breds, Anniversaries & Columbias have toecaps that should be see through.
- The Patent Leather cut is is low on retros from 2010 and on, so it is normal for the cut to be a bit higher on Spacejams.

The purpose of creating this thread is to give those looking to purchase Jordan 11 Retro's an in depth look at what authentic pairs should look like, and how to distinguish the difference between authentic pairs and fake/grey market pairs. If the soles on the Space Jam's, Cool Grey's, and/or Concord's you're looking to purchase don't look like the ones in the picture above (notice the deep yellowing around the pods), than they are FAKE
