I played this album all the way thru for months.

Primetime one of my favorite songs ever

Jay went in, Ye snapped, NO ID laced them.

Holy trinity

Nice, hope they change up the sound a little to differentiate it some what from WTT.
Agreed. Not that I would be mad if this one closely mirrored the last. I just think it would be interesting to see them go in a different direction again.

when did rap fans become so averse to rappers bragging?

it seems like criticism of the practice is exclusively linked to WTT, as though the practice were new.
I swear ill se dudes clown on ye and jay about it but be in other threads hyping up other rappers thatbare doing the same ****

It's still a big deal for Kanye and Jay-Z to perform together. They don't need a new single or WTT2 to make it big.

I felt WTT was good but could've been a lot better especially coming from those two
Some songs sounded a little rushed but I'm sure WTT2 will be good

It could never live up to the hype of those two making an album together but it was good for wha it was and has aged well

Plus it produced ****** In Paris which automatically validates it because that is one of the best rap songs of the decade

IMO the album was near-flawless aside from Lift Off (another sub-par Jay / Beyonce song). I always thought the album never got the love it deserved because "N's in Paris" wasn't representative of the rest of the album and overshadowed other great songs like Murder to Excellence and Primetime

To the person who said the best produced songs were towards the end of the album, the album started with No Church in the Wild

I'm excited to see what comes out of SXSW tomorrow

Lift Off one of the worst songs in all of Jay/Ye/Beyonce's catalogs.

Jay said he thought it was going to be a #1 hit

This

These guys actually made it... Instead of other rappers faking the funk

But if this does happen eventually.... I'd hope for a retro Blueprint/ College dropout, sample heavy album.

Off topic... But I heard a phantogram song the other day, and can't help feeling we're getting pat boone'd all over again.

We need to take soul samples back!!

This. I could only hope for a Kanye / Just Blaze co-produced album filled with great soul samples. I know that will never happen

Illest MF Alive is great but I always seem to skip it since it takes so long to get to the actual song

Looks like I'm in the minority here, I didn't like WTT very much. Murder to Excellence and No Church in the Wild were dope, everything else was weak. After Magna Carta/Yeezus and WTT, I'm not excited at all for a 2nd WTT. I'm a big Kanye fan and I like JayZ but their recent offerings have been trash
