Watch The Throne II?

No Church in the wild was a frisbee?
naw it was a classic, we just tryna shine light on much less talked about songs.
"This self-important ego trip of a record isn't what anyone would call "bad." But it's definitely not good and it's certainly not great. For a release from two of the industry's finest and an album title that claims royalty, it was a let-down that hasn't held up well. Okay, "Gotta Have It" still hits and "Otis" can slide by. But from Jay-Z's out-of-date references to Kanye's embarrassing pop culture nods, this mediocre record will be in dollar bins within a few years. Mary K & Ashley aren't even listening to it anymore."

Sounds pretty spot on to me.
@ whoever wrote this

Still listen to that in the gym daily
Them chopped up James Brown vocals on top of that distorted riff was outrageously good

How was it an ego trip of a record with songs like Murder To Excellence, The Joy, New Day, & Primetime?

P4L...listening to the OG WTT right now...it's been a while.

Craving a sequel, btw...

Only messed with the bonus tracks on the last album, they can keep this ****.

I only loved half of the album. The rest was trash to me. Like that Beyoncé song :x

No church in the wild tho and gotta have it tho :pimp:

It was probably the best beat of 2011 in that studio that night that Jay & Kanye rapped over. The Joy, Prime Time, Otis >>>> the rest of that frisbee.
exactly why I take NT with a grain of salt

and ty i agree, people say its 95% brag, but jay was dropping knowledge jewels all over cd

At this point its a no win for them... WTT was dope Jay Z,  but i hated MCHG

I still play songs from WTT regularly. I hope they do a WTT2.

I'm also upset they didn't stream the SXSW performance.
