**OFFICIAL NIKE TECH FLEECE/TECH KNIT THREAD** - SEE FAQ on First Page

some stores have limits on number of shoes being purchased at a time. same rule should apply.

Why should that rule apply for items being shipped? If it's not clearing out in-store stock it's not hurting anybody. It's smart to purchase as many as possible at that price and flip them into other stuff without even having to resell them.

in the end it doesn't bother me I got my pairs. Just pointing out Nike inconsistencies. YMMV

I'm still trying to figure out why, how and for what did this happen. Was 19.99 really Nike's plan?

i think a few pages back someone mentioned that this was a promo to be only used if the outlet had the item in stock at the location, not for people to bulk order off NDC...

Ok only if the outlet had the items in stock. So nike dropped the ball communicating the specifics of the sale.

whatever the reason is, I'm glad a lot flourished.. I'm sure there's a lot of lurkers that did too, but that's a norm.. I really thought the $40 deal was great already but 1/2 that is even better..

length wise, how do the tech fleece pants compare to other nike sweats like the AW77's? Being 6'5" with long legs I often find Nike's cuffed sweats to come up too short by about 2-3" from what i'd like. Is the length of the tech fleece pants roughly the same?

Believe it or not some colors differ in length. My black pair is noticeablely shorter than my grey pair. Same exact size.

I dont even understand why this is still even being discussed. Many people were buying 30 pairs and the promotion shouldn't have even worked over the phone. Those are the reason the plug was pulled early. If you buy around 3 boxes worth, I dont see them having a huge problem with that. But if you are getting 18 boxes of tech fleece pants sent to your house, your plan is a bit obvious. If I was Nike and I saw you order that many pairs, you better bet im canceling your order.

Anyways, can anyone tell me how much longer the mediums are in length? The smalls are great in length, just a bit too tight.

I'm 5'9 170 and wear a medium, and length is pretty much perfect. It def has a tapered fit for me, but that's what I'm going for anyways.

I'll try to take side by side shots of S, M, L, XL with a tape measure later on.. everyone is receiving TF for Father's Day..

That's the problem. None of the nike's down here in Florida carry the TF sweats. It would have to be over the phone with the number they provide on receipt.

Not sure how it works over the phone, but give it a try or chat with Nike rep.

Ordered my greys in a L and need an XL. Tried to call them up for an exchange and she said it would come in as a return and I would have to repurchase it, obviously for the full price. She said if I want an even exchange I'd have to go back to the outlet and see if they'd be willing to do it for me. Smh.

Wow so the ASG pants actually do exist. What colour are they? They're listed as charcoal heather so I'm not sure if there's a difference between those and the charcoals that have been talked about for so long.

I'm the same measurements and also stuck with a medium. Nice tapered slim fit

I think they're a little darker than the Carbons, but without the Volt heathering.

All 3 of my pairs are M and my black fits tighter and a tad shorter than the red which are shorter and tighter than the grey.

Grey - longest and baggiest

red - in between

black - shortest and slimmest

it's not because of the illusion that black makes you look skinnier. you could see the length when comparing inseams and for the grey pair there is a lot of drop crotch compared to the other two. Fit-wise I like black the best but colorwise I prefer the grey.

I didn't compare my old pairs because they have been washed

The reason this is being discussed is because a lot of you catch feelings when it comes to Nike as a company as if you yourself are trying to maintain a moral compass with its sacrity. If this was a Ross or Marshalls promotion with Nike product would anybody be mad someone bought 20 or 30 pairs? No! If this was a deal being ran on Old Navy joggers would anybody care someone bought 30 pairs? NO! But because it's the ever so loved and admired Nike, suddenly buying a lot of what you like at an exceptional price is wrong. That's hilarious! My only regret is not buying 50 more pairs. The reason the rich get richer and the poor stay poor is because the Rich have a company face to make their strategically executed dirty tactics seem like "business as usual" while the lowly individual consumer's plan to take advantage is seen as a "scam"...this is America.

P.S. I do enjoy these discussions when done in a respectful manner without personal attacks. At some point we'll all agree to disagree but it's interesting to read others opinions.

If someone at Ross or Marshall had that many pairs they would still be getting funny looks from everyone else in line.

dude. You did not buy that many tech fleece items because you love the quality that much. You're gonna resell, just own it.
