Your not the only one but Id say your in the 1%. I think your confusing TF with your normal fleece material its a lot more breathable. 

TF shorts are fine the summer living in NYC and CHI Ive had no issues. 

NY isnt that humid spend some time in the south

I've asked the question a few times and the best answer I got actually came from a chick. Said she liked them a lot for layering over tights during winter running. But, as much as she loved them, she wouldn't recommend for summer.

I like the look a lot but the idea of wearing anything w/ "fleece" in summer doesn't compute for me . Our summers are already humid as Hades.

After searching for a while, I finally found a pair of Deep Royals in my size from a little German clothing boutique with a little help from Google. They were the last pair left and discounted. Came out to $71 USD shipped. By far the best color IMO. I am happy and retiring from the TF game. Flourish my people!
