I pretty much know I'm going to be copping the wind runner this weekend. I like the color enough to cop without knowing if material is good enough.
 
I'm going to wait for these tech knit to hit clearance in 4 months. Only piece of tech fleece I own that I have spent over $50 was the recent bomber Aeroloft.

There are some parts of the knit where it is knit in a looser fashion. Not that it's loose, it's just a different pattern. It seems like it could snag on something about as easily as any other garment of clothing. There aren't any loose threads, if that's what you're asking.
 
Do aw77 shrink at all when you wash? Med is too short for me but a large is a bit baggy.

Everything I buy is worth the price. But for those of you that don't feel the same, luckily Nike has a great return policy.

As for price worthy, their golf line polos are worth every penny when compared to other brands and the ACG line isnt bad 

But at the end of the day its all subjective in terms of price worthy. 


Im just curious what the hype is about the line. Maybe in a few yeas might be something intriguing but for now seems like a gimmick

I'm not sure where you think the "hype" came from because I have not heard anyone outside of this thread really talking about the Tech Knit. It's not like people are lining up outside Nike stores for days or buying bots to make sure they are able to cop online. The first person that told me about it was my boy at Nike after he saw the samples and wouldn't shut up about it. And if I remember correctly... (Not trying to sound arrogant just pointing out facts) Nobody in this thread even knew about this Tech Knit line until I mentioned something last month. So I think this "hype" you're referring to is in your head.

I am more worried about the pants because they will come into constant contact when you sit. For example sitting on a wood bench or a cement curb or something. The Windrunner and tee should be fine.

I totally disagree with this statement. They sell Foamposites for this price (not to me but people buy them). Also this is not even close to the highest priced apparel they release. Most of the NikeLab white label stuff is more expensive. Even the $900 SuperBowl 50 jacket did well
 
Price is relative and what you deem something is worth.

Dudes were fine getting tech fleece for $70-$80 before tech fleece gate and then your perception changed and started waiting and being patient for $50ish tech fleece.

The tech knit line will prob do well cause it's brand new / looks good and will prob be difficult to find at discount for the first few months of its inception.

Wait till we see Olympic Knit / Special occasion / etc.
 
I'm sure these will hit outlets, even all the olympic gear from years past hit outlets and those were going for stupid prices.

Will grab it then hopefully.

I think that's just cause it's new. If it's as good as people are saying it is im sure it'll gain traction. Whose to say it won't be as popular as TF? I just want to be done talking about price and get back to deals lol

i think the tech knit / tech fleece stuff can co-exist. the only issue i can see is when the ballers and the deal getters clash which already happened in here.

its not many people that ive seen post in here that dont like tech knit. its just the price point that bothers a lot of us.

or maybe the tech knit stuff would go in the general nike clothing thread?

im indifferent to be honest

I'm cool with it i can just do with out the pricing back and forth. I figured we would have gotten it out of our systems by now :lol:

I think its fine in the current thread its not the majority of the convo in here just current topic. It will be just like the ACG, White Label or Lab stuff

The same could be said about the " discount store" daily roll call few months ago lol.... "I stop by Ross today no TF" or my fav "I went 10 different Marshalls and they were dry"

The thread is a pretty good one, the number of posts has increased since TFGate but still decent group.
