I'm a grandfather trying to buy a pair of Air Jordan shoes for my grandson.  I followed the countdown clock on Eastbay since 7:30  this morning and placed a pair of Air Jordon 1 KO size 10.5 in my cart within 1 second after I could order at 8:00.  Then I was told there were no more shoes left in the size I wanted - WHAT???  How could this be after only one second?  Went over to Footlocker less than a minute later and again,"nothing in 10.5.   (I made sure my accounts were up to date with current shipping and billing information ahead of time).  HELP - Am I missing something?  What can I do to ensure I can buy Air Jordan shoes the next time they are released?  (I know that more Jordan releases will be coming in April and May).  Thanks very much.

Tell your Grandson to find a new hobby.

I guess what I'm asking is - Physically how does a person get their shoes in their cart in less than a second?  Is there some type of computer application that does this?

This is not a hobby to him.  He plays a lot of ball, likes Jordan, and I know he would like a pair.  Being his grandfather I thought I would buy a pair for him.
