Yahoo! 2014 NCAA Tourney Pick 'em - Registration

In :pimp:

As Yahoo and Quicken note in the fine print of their rules page: “odds of winning the Grand Prize are 1:9,223,372,036,854,775,808.” That’s 1 in 9 quintillion...Another way to think about it: If all 317 million people in the U.S. filled out a bracket at random, you could run the contest for 290 million years, and there’d still be a 99 percent chance that no one had ever won

Is Yahoo serious with this? I can't renew my group from last year or join this one if I don't give them my phone number? Wow. :smh: Not happening

Would something like google voice work for those that dont want to give out their real number or dont have a cell? Not sure exactly how it works just figured I would throw something out there.

It's Quicken Loans' (Warrant Buffett's Billion $) participation that requires the phone number. They're in cahoots with yahoo. If I get text messages of any kind then I'll just opt out, which is usually an option even after you sign up for these things. No big deal. It's annoying, but what can you do?
