Why Young Thug is my favorite rapper.

There has NEVER been a Young Thug out there. This dude is so unique and so god damn talented. I’m not so sure I **** with the fact that he’s now a Rich Gang member, and honestly I really hope he doesn’t sell out and start making ****** music which he likely will, but from his mixtape 1017 Thug up until now, I think this dude is so unique and he gives soooooo little of a **** that it’s not only incredibly entertaining to hear the nuts **** he comes up with, but he’s also pretty deep in his grasp of melody and songwriting. It seems weird to say that about a dude who sings “I'ma stoner I'ma stoner” but seriously just like listen to this song and understand the artistic value in his ****, especially how he goes in on the second verse (a notable line being “It’s hard to be mad at the man that you made me baby” ****** gorgeous ****). this dude is really ****** talented. Anyone feel me on this?

lol who's ya'll dudes favorite rapper. that ****** blows that there aren't more people out here who actually listen to rap that doesn't focus on lyrical ****. like i love rap music dont get me wrong, but aren't you tired of hearing dudes rap endless bars with the same tone? thats why i love people like thug, danny brown, future, migos, gangsta gibbs. etc.

i'll reiterate my post with some other thug ****. like forreal, get his artistry, its dope as ****. what he's saying isn't the focus so much as his melodic decisions, his emotion and his LACK OF ***** GIVEN.

It doesn't take much to be your favorite rapper does it?  this ***** has no catalog bruh lol..  he did his sxsw show and sang 2 songs..  everybody in the crowd was mad as hell...  He has to build his catalog up bruh before he's taken serious

he's got a lot of stuff man, check out his 1017 thug tape. He's got a tape with migos, one with bloody jay, and he's got soooooo many features on so many different rappers songs. His two popular songs are stoner and Danny glover. But he's been doing this for some time. He's really not trash if you listen and accept how out there he is. Like listen to "Nigeria" or "picachu" from 1017 thug, he's got such an interesting style
 
LMFAOOOOOO yo forreal you need to listen to more hip hop cause it seems like Young Thug is the first non radio rapper you ever heard and listened to. I can name prolly 50 rappers off the top of my head that are better than dude. Also dude is already making sell out music so him signing to Young Money and making trash music cause of that is dumb because its already happening. But hey everyone got their own opinion, he has some songs I like and he has a lil potential. Hes trash for the most part tho, of course IMO lol

Man I LISTEN to hip hop. My favorite rappers include Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, Future (his mixtapes not his radio ****), pusha t, old Wayne, partynextdoor, Q, big boi, killer mike and gunplay. What do these dudes all have in common? They don't give a ****. They just do what they love and don't try to move mountains with meaning. I really don't like ignorance, name any of your favorite rappers, I prolly have only good things to say about em unless it's like childish gambino or macklemore

Jeez y'all are some angry dudes. I was just tryna share **** I like and see who feels me. I don't give a **** what if you don't like people I listen to. I like all of these rappers for very specific and legitimate reasons, if you don't **** with them there's no reason to **** on me. I have no respect for you. If you have an actual opinion on the subject like specific, intelligent reasons why you don't like the rappers I like and examples of rappers that you do like and why you like them compared to mine, I'd be willing to have a conversation, but hip hop is ****** up because of the lack of love. Tell me your favorite rappers I prolly have nothing but good things to say about em. Jesus, I'm sorry I even attempted to find another intelligent person on these forums.
