 might not be in your realm..  but.. i have this pole.. you can mount 2 gopros.. one facing you and one facing the other way..

I'm going on a trip to the Philippines this summer, I'm definitely dusting off the Hero3.  Timelapse  sunrise/sets.  Underwater vids.  Got floaties, poles, suction cup, headmount, extra batteries, 64gb and 32gb cards.

I was using the hero 3 black, I filmed in 720 for battery life purposes lol. If gopro fixed that battery life it would be the perfect action camera.

it can be as easy/difficult as you want it to be, from fairly straightforward cutting clips & putting them together (can be done with most basic editing programs) to things color grading & compositing which can be a bit more involved to pull off.

It's pretty easy. Once you figure out how to utilize the "mark in" and "mark out" method of trimming clips it's pretty simple. I try to edit around my song choices to establish some sort of pacing

I'm torn in between the hero 4 silver or black. I will have $350 in american express rewards points which I will use for the purchase from groupon. I already bought a 12-in-1 eekit from amazon, a sandisk extreme pro 64gb, and a wasabi 2 battery pack with charger from amazon.

silver: I would literally have to put no money out of pocket. It has an LCD screen to frame shots and better battery life than the black.

Black: I would have to put $100 out of pocket. I plan on buying a 4k TV in october and it would be nice to record a couple videos to play it back on the tv. Slow motion vids look 

 on youtube.

* Is $100 more than the silver worth it for better image/video quality? I already wasted $118 on batteries/ memory card/ accessories. I never had one of these before, so I will be a newbie when it comes to shooting with it. I'm an average joe that doesn't go on many adventures. I do plan on using it under water scuba diving in dr soon and while riding 4 wheelers out there.
