:lol: at anyone who believes this.

Nike can give MJ the biggest check, he's staying forever, and I'm sure he gives as many dambs about the quality of retros as he does about his wardrobe

I cant ever see that happening, MJs not a fool , he dont do nothing but give the final word, and gets paid millions upon millions to do so. Sure the royalties would keep some money flowing his way,but running the show he makes much much more..

I thought the same thing. I don't believe it. This is probably a rumor JB started so they cans sell more retros and charge more for them.
 
it was written in michael's contract early on that when he ceased to be able to slam dunk a basketball - he must discontinue peddling sneakers

In all fairness, I was gonna buy every pack until they went to crap quality. As a younger adult, I wanted every Jordan 1-23 just because.
 
Jordan brand brrings in 2.5 billion a year for Nike and is responsible for more than 50% of all Nike's shoe sales. I can't even believe this is a topic.
 
I'd prolly just start hunting down all my grails before they get to the point of being non-wearable.
 
Why would they discontinue sales 1 year after their biggest year of all time? Don't be morons.
Too many random idiots starting up rumors out of the blue these days. "preorders, early chances on ndc, $20 price increase"..... We need to stop running with this nonsense and posting it on niketalk

Sounds like a hoax but I'd be really happy if they stopped pumping out retros. I don't mind the concept of releasing the older Js but the way Nike does it with the cheapest and nastiest materials to the point where they barely have anything in common with the OGs is something I can do without.

The new sigs are a quality product. The retros are not. Since consumers have voted with their money it seems crap quality product with nostalgic design trumps the better quality sigs
