During a segment of “The Realness” last week, Hot 97′s Peter Rosenberg ventured into the question of whether or not Jay Z is jocking Kanye West. Apparently, word got back to Jay who had some things to say on the issue.

While leaving Austin’s South by Southwest last week, Rosenberg says that he got a blocked call from Hov who then told him “why those words should never come out of [his] mouth.” Rosenberg also shares his reaction to realizing that Jay was probably holding Blue Ivy the entire time. I listened to MCHG in its entirety last week. The last two songs of Yeezus that I can even remember playing are Blood on the Leaves and Hold my Liquor.

inb4 my opinion doesnt count.

i'm a fan of kanye west... i'm a fan of Jay-Z.... i post in the thread about both of them.

Your clearly aren't a fan of Kanye West new music, or anything he involves himself in yet i see you in every single thread about him... i just don't see the point behind that

If i'm quote on quote caping yet you have as many post if not more discussing kanye west than i do....:rolleyes **** ain't adding up fam

I may be the only person who hasnt even heard yeezus besides what they play on satellite radio and don't plan to :lol:

Agreed! But also people act like Young Chris, Kanye or whoever they claim jay steals from doesn't benefit from Jay Z popularity
 
i must say MCHG is miles ahead of Yeezus, you guys can have that artsy rap. maybe the referencs to art and fasion are what Rosenberg is addressing. Hov is trying to much is be something he's not. he needs to go back to his grittyness at times, he's gotten too soft.

SMMFH he's a 40+ year old man who has a wife and child, who has been rich going on damn near two decades.... Mf'ers really don't understand the concept of evolution. Jay is clearly showing you who he is, a ***** from the streets with street values who is now in a rich white man's world and changing the rules on how things are suppose to look.

Exactly. People forget jay doesn't live in the projects and does not sell crack anymore. He's wealthy. I don't know how a wealthy man can have gritty content.
