Athletes of all ages know there is no off-season and maintaining top physical condition is crucial. With the introduction of the Flight Runner, the Jordan Brand expands its arsenal of training products for elite athletes. Sharing heritage, DNA and Global Headquarters with the world’s foremost running company allows Jordan Brand to leverage decades of running technology, research and leadership to create a shoe designed to serve all members of the Jordan Brand family.

The Jordan Flight Runner combines ultra-supportive Dynamic Fit technology and iconic Nike Zoom cushioning. Providing the ultimate ride for training and conditioning, the Jordan Flight Runner helps prepare top-flight athletes of any sport.

This versatile running shoe features an advanced heat-and-pressure fusion process — creating a strong, exceptionally lightweight bond. Fused mesh in the forefoot provides ventilation, while the welded shroud creates a sleek, streamlined look. With an emphasis on heel support and responsive cushioning, the Jordan Flight Runner helps keep the foot in place upon landing and provides comfortable stability for bigger, stronger athletes.

The Jordan Flight Runner is already appearing in the sports world, debuting on the feet of Jordan Brand’s NCAA teams – University of North Carolina, Georgetown University, Marquette University, and University of California at Berkeley – before their conference tournaments this past weekend.

The Jordan Flight Runner will be available at select retail stores and Jordan.com on May 1 for a suggested retail price of $110.

I'm not really a running shoe person but they look OK I guess . Thanks for the pics/info.

Upper looks very similar to the CP3VII to me.

Not a runner, or into any running shoes, but would be interested to see what the performance reviews are. As much as people didn't like the XX8's aesthetics, most people I've spoken too really enjoyed the on court performance.

I actually like these I'm not a runner but I'll cop, lace-swap and use as a knock around shoe.

I've used air max, lunarlon, and frees but never zoom for my running shoes. For $110 I'll give these a try.

Trunners?

Too much heel/forefoot drop but hey they're pretty much Pegasus' with a Jordan logo

Just copped these to add to my Mizunos to train for my 10k. Got for $84 with the bday coupon.

I have been very pleasantly surprised at their performance as running shoes. They are super narrow but widens in the forefoot so your toes can spread. Definitely zoom in the heel and looks like zoom in forefoot but can't tell.

Anybody else pick these up?

Does anyone have reviews on this shoe? I think I may get them to train in. Plus, I can get them well under $100.

@shoejunky I've done about 6 miles in mine here is what I think...

They are really, really narrow and super supportive, almost too supportive. My first run was really uncomfortable but I realized I had them tied too tight. They fit like a glove so you really don't need to lace them tightly. Once I loosened the laces they were good money.

Cushioning is ok...zoom is great for sports that require quick movement but over a long run you kinda loose the bounce of zoom. After about mile 2 the bounce goes away but the cushioning is still solid. I haven't experienced any leg soreness or shin splints.

I use these kicks for running so I can't speak on cross training in them.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna use mine to lift in, do a lil running, and use them as an errand shoe instead of my retros.
