Air Jordan "Gamma" 11 factory defect.

During the last Nike.com restock I managed to get my hands on a pair of Gamma's, to my surprise when I opened the package this morning I noticed the tongue on the right shoe is around .5in shorter than on the left one. As with almost every Jordan release Nike has said they'd offer me a refund but cannot replace due to lack of supply. I'm fine with it as it's just a slight defect but it does make one of my shoes look like a replica until you get a closer look at it. What I was wondering has anyone else had this problem? A quick google search has shown nothing except someone else on these forums who's JUMPMAN JORDAN text was upside down.
