My fellow 9-5ers, what do you bring to work for lunch?

I've been trying to "eat clean" again so I cook my meals the Sunday before. But I work at 5 a.m and I also eat every 2-4 hrs so I bring:

-Cereal x milk for breakfast

-trail mix or fruit for snacks

-the chicken/starch/veggies combo for 'lunch'

Get home by 1:30 so I'm gucci until dinner usually.
Good stuff, man. Not trying to tell you what to do, but you can probably lean that out a bit, no pun intended.

Cereal: use some whole grain stuff, and not the kiddy stuff like Cocoa Puff (yes, I know they taste good!) and fat free milk.

Trail mix: make your own. Just cop some almonds, fruits, and mix yourself. Don't go nuts on the chocolate though.

Your lunch sounds good

Nothing. The job keeps the fridge and respective cabinets stocked with all the food a man could ask for. Couldn't be happier.

Oh yeah bro I'm way ahead of you lol:

Cereal-Honey Nut Cherios x Almond Milk

I opt for nut and fruit mixes but I definitely appreciate the advice!

I bring lunch 4x a week.

I cook dinner for myself at night anyway, so I just make a little extra to pack for lunch.

Most consists of a boiled potato, some sort of protein, and perhaps a bag of carrots/celeries.

Also have some peanut butter and cereal in my desk drawer for whenever hunger strikes.

bring lunch 4x a week, usually a sandwich, chips, and fruit ( prepped mango with Tachin the night before).

i eat out once a week , do chicken strips and fries from a local spot or hit Costco up.

my daily breakdown:

eat cereal on my way to work, yes i eat out of a cup haha

snack at work is usually a granola bar and a sugar free red bull

lunch is the sando, chips and fruit. drink plenty of water throughout the day too

dinner at home is usually rice, chicken breast or pasta and a portion of veggies.

my rice steamer is my best friend haha ( im not asian btw)

Been eating out for lunch everyday. I feel like with the effort I put into my work, the least I could do is treat myself to a nice meal everyday. Sure, I could save a few bucks here and there, but the pleasure from eating good food is more satisfying. And sure, eating out is less healthy, but I work out and hoop almost daily so that's not an issue. Doesn't help that I don't cook either.

I hate leftovers. how can yall eat the same thing twice in a 12hr span? its usually not as good as it was freshly made either. and dudes making the same meal for a whole week? idk how yall do it
basically everything you said. can't keep eating the same thing day after day. definitely not leftovers either.
sucks because it means i have to mix it up daily, which becomes pretty costly.

when you work in an office it is so hard to bring lunch because someone is always ordering out. i try to be good and im ok if i cook dinner the night before and bring leftovers

i try to cook every sat or sunday. since i work 6-2. i bring 2 snacks and lunch from the meals i cook on weekends. the galley here sucks and is SOOO expensive. I have forced myself to cut back on my fastfood intake.

i usually just eat a big breakfast, i am normally just working 4hr shifts, smh PT retail.
But on days i work 7hr or more I just grab something from the mall or have one of the mall chicks bring me something. (if i can manage)

I eat leftovers from dinners and bring a jug of water and snacks...I'm never hungry or thirsty at work

Cold cut sandwiches or left over from the night before cooking. Every once in a while do I go out to lunch to eat. Waste too much money on lunch, adds up quickly.

Im on protein shakes these next two weeks..... but usually it's leftovers from last night's dinner. But we have a cafe place here in the building and they HIGH as hell, salads be like $7 :smh:

that's standard / cheap for a salad...

I bring my lunch to work everyday. Generally its just leftovers from the night before.

Went to dinner last night so no leftovers :-(
so i got a reall struggle meal of brown rice, kale, and beef hotdogs.

(kinda addicted to these oscar meyer beef hotdogs...no funny business)

I buy lunch everyday almost and sometimes breakfast too.

I work with this big fat Greek dude who's always talking about what we getting to eat.

Story of my life, bro. I try to bring in a sandwich or leftovers every week, and I'm focused until about 11am until these fools bust out that menu folder :smh:

Got a whole bunch of Tupperware with old food in the fridge right now that I should clean out
