Westboro Baptist Church made normal baptist church goers like myself look bad :smh:

Supposedly he was excommunicated by the WBC - but I haven't been able to find out any info. Not sure if he changed what he was preaching or if they had some other falling out - they still seem to be spewing the same garbage.
 
I dont wish death on no one, but he was a horrible man and have a following of horrible people.

Even though he died, there will be someone with same passion take over. Smhgif

Yeah, I bet a lot of people have that idea - I can see a lot of beautifully printed 'God hates Fred Phelps' signs.

But, I'm not sure it's the right thing - I think maybe we should just ignore him and them and get on with life. Making a fuss is just what they want.
 
Although it would be mildly entertaining seeing people picket that scum's funeral... I wouldn't want people to stoop to the level that WBC has been operating at for years.

Damn. They picketed my HS for lgbt, the picketed a funeral for on of my moms soldiers who passed in Iraq(my mom was the guys platoon Sgt.) and the picketed this gay guy from my school who died...they are a terribly insensitive group of people...that being said, he was doing what he feels is right, I can't condemn a man to hell for that. He left a horrible legacy.
