JORDAN SHINE(HIGH END SNEAKERS) vs BIN 23 (PREMIUM MATERIAL LIMITED SNEAKERS)

They are a non-signature getting this type of play in terms of material. Even if this supposed quality upgrade happens a $225 retro will be $260. We all know we will not get $400 leather from JB for $260. If you want the better quality stuff you are going to have to step away from retros until they are $400 and releases of Shine significance hit $1000.
 
People can do what they want with their money but this is not a $400.00 worth shoe.

Thank you for your kind words. Now I will take my shoes back. Because none of you like them and I am stupid. Let's go get some retros. From here on I shall enlist others opinions as to what I should like. No ... forget that, Like I said, I like them.
 
it's all personal opinion. i think they look decent, but for the price point these needs to be made in Italy for the ultimate leather quality to be worth the price tag. I was expecting them to be made in Italy tbh, but since they are made in China personally i feel that these are worth about $200 and would only buy if they get to that point. 
 
I think these are so ******* dope. Both color ways are fire.
That price tag is really steep though.

you never know. even Vans with all them made in China crap had the Diemme made in Italy.
 
Nike/JB are cheap

they will never change, they are always gonna be made in china. quality materials or not.
 
Here's a short review of the Shines. They are extremely comfortable. The fine chinese leather smells very good.  The leather is very supple. Soft is a good word to describe the feel of it.  One thing I noticed when taking a picture is, if you use a flash, you get a sort of 3m look on the edges of the weave.  That feature,  or characteristic, is not the normal look of the shoe.  Weave edges are as dark as the shoe when looking at it normally.  The eyelet or lace loop are hidden.  Tying the shoe is not needed.  The laces hang at the right height,  and the weight of the aglets hold them nicely.  The foot bed inside the shoe has a soft cushioning feel. Very soft.  I wear a 10.5 to an 11.  It just depends.  The black pair is an 11.  Wearing a thinner Stance socks, and shoes not tied was very comfortable. no pinching areas or tightness.  The red pair is a 10.5.  Not much different in feel.  Slightly more narrow near the toe box.  I would say, for me, the 11 feels better.  This might be a change of time withe the weave portion of the shoe becoming loose with wear.  I like the thinner  nike elite hyper-lite socks for most of my sneakers.  These would work as well as the Stance.  I'll add pics.  The red is red, not hyper red, or crimson, its red.  The black. Is black.  The red also flashes that woven edge, that is 3m-ish.  The main thing is,  I appreciate the fact that the Chinese have grown some pretty good cows.  Maybe they fed them spaghetti.  As for the price.  Yep it's steep.  Last I checked they were around $350 and up.  The leBrong mango colored shoe with the mirror plastic like heels was $275 and i saw people buying them with smiles on their faces.  I think this is a step above that by a large margin.  I'm happy with my purchase.  I hope all of you get the opportunity to buy these at whatever price causes you to pull the trigger.   Watch out Italy the chinese cows are coming, and they some soft feeling *******.

@johnnyverboten  , since you have both colorways. Which one do you think is nicer? I copped a red from oslife but I was debating it hard. I think I made a mistake because the black looks really fresh here.
