It was mainly the materials that I passed on. Of course, we know what to expect in terms of the new shape/mold. And even though I don't care for the "23" on that model I can live with that. But, held em in hand when they released and the material just didn't do it for me. Even though it's prob my fav 5 model just couldn't pull the trigger on em. Oh well, prob be another released in the next few years and quality will likely take a hit again. But might grab it next go round just to have em in rotation. I don't think I've owned a pair since the OG in Mid school..

Looks fairly decent and I'm liking the color on this but I got to pass on these since I haven't even worn my black metallic 5's yet. For some reason, I still can't wrap my mind around the all-over elephant print on these.

No thanks. Jordan needs to slow down they killing this concept. If u got the Oreo 5s or any black base 5 there's no need for these IMO.

Honestly, I find these to be too plain...I know that sounds crazy, considering theres elephant print all over them, but I would prefer some splash of color. I think that's why I like the infrared ones the best.
Also, as a few have already stated, if these don't have the wax laces and leather interior, but they're keeping the $225 price tag, Nike is kind of jerking us.
Doesn't really matter though, I'm good with the infrared joints...I have no desire for these.

they need to make jb branded tissues for you & your massive tearsno. But why drum up another idea when they can just keep releasing these for 225 and the sheep will eat them up in 10 mins?They don't have to come up with another idea when this one makes them 225 a pop easily

These need white laces IMO. or atleast come with an alternate pair of both white and black. I should get two laces if Im gonna pay 225 for a mediocre shoe like that...and a wristband.....and also a.... nvm...

personally i think elephant should stay where it is on the 3s. it was interesting when the very first 3lab5 dropped but now its getting little played to me, matter fact jordan as a brand is getting played with a retro releasing every damn week. they're losing their value.

Hmmm wasn't aware Nike demanded you buy them. If it is mediocre DON'T buy them. Yes two pairs of shoelaces are nice however who am I to demand them.

In a concept series that's produced one of the ugliest shoes i've ever seen, these are decent. I can see why people with the Oreos or Metallics already might not cop them (Unless they just had the extra cash laying around on the couch or something) especially if premium materials are missing that the other 2 releases had. Probably just me, but when I first saw these they reminded me of Venom from Spider-Man.
