It doesn't seem that way to me.
You always have people who miss no matter which release, but it seems like most who wanted a pair got a pair on or after release day.
Nothing to crazy considering it was limited, not a ton of people who wanted it missed

I literally stopped by the store to grab a pack of these on the way to my first CL meet up 5 years ago. When I asked the guy in office max where they were he asked about CL
Like 5 bucks each or 10+ for a pack. Not full proof but better than nothing. Only accepting smaller bills should help too

Before I got my actual size I had a 10.5 fit fine, I had some wiggle room in the toe box as well. But since im sometimes ocd I wanted size 11 to match all my boxes in my closet. But like

This will not work with today's fakes. They are taking old $5 bills, bleaching the ink off, and printing $100 on them. The best way is to only accept new bills. The multicolored ones. Also always take your cell phone light and place the bill over it and check the inside strip denomination is the actual one for the bill.
