I told myself Im not spending over $1k on a watch until I can afford a Rolex.

But if I was going to spend something in that range I would try to get an Omega personally.
brand new its 3250, so im thinking it could be a good deal

Whats your guys thoughts on a breitling colt for $1300. Its brand new but from 2007

I'm not a huge breitling fan.. But I like the superocean heritage.. I actually bought the 46 and took it back (didn't like the feel) this one:

^ is that yours? The Hulk has to be my favourite sport-model Rolex (or tied with the ND Sub). I'll hopefully have one by the end of the year.

yup.. literally just got it yesterday..

was trying arrange with my buddy when I would be able to go pick up for the last week.. but between work and the weather, yesterday was the first chance I got to go

my favorite is the white gold with the blue face/dial, but that's 20 something.. I'd go with a royal oak or nautilus if I was spending over 10.. this one:

its like driving a lambo and parking it in the hood.. take off the cartoonish model it makes your rolex look like a timex

Do you even get the reference?

Watch is clean @RFX45 finally took a day off from work tomorrow to head out to role sf to see if they're below retail here or if I need to hit the grey market

Looking for a watch recommendation.

Budget  = $2,00 and below. Ideally around $1,600 after negotiating.
Style  = Chronograph, I like the "moon" ones
Finish  = Stainless Steel
Band  = bracelet or leather
Case Diameter  = 40mm plus
Movement  = automatic, could use some schooling on what's best
Crystal  = sapphire
Water Resistance  = no preference

This watch will be a graduation present and my first "nice" watch. I'm looking for something that can be worn casual or dressy ideally. If I had to spend more to find a watch I loved, I'd consider it.

I'm a watch noob so any insight on quartz/automatic and normal haggle discounts is appreciated. Pre-owned?

Currently I am considering the following Longine's models:

http://www.tourneau.com/shop/gender/all-mens/heritage-4797p

I think the first (Longines Longines HydroConquest (Model: L3.644.4.56.6) ) may be a perfect fit, but I'd like to explore more options before making a decision.

Appreciate any help!

i like #2 over #1, but thats just the style i like

watches are all about taste, its all about preference for you

Both are nice watches, but i'd keep looking personally

Any opinions on the best digital watch?

Or any watches whose whole face is digital like all of the Android Wear/ Apple Watch?

I like how smartwatches look but honestly would only use it to tell time.

Thanks
