Why doesn't Nike have a customer rewards program?

Should Nike offer a rewards program similar to Finishline's Winner's Circle?

Before you reply with "they don't need to,"  I really only shop there when Finishline doesn't carry the release.

If they offered a program similar to Winner's Circle, I would probably be spending 80% of my dollars directly at Nike.

I understand at the end of the day I'm still buying their product without them having to give up anything, but there must be some benefit to the company for me to buy their products direct vs. a third party?

I did a search before posting this, but I didn't see the topic discussed to death or anything.

Thanks,

I bought most of my jordans last year with bday coupons from FTL and FTA because of that. I wish nike would do something but they think those free 1-2 day shipping codes are it

Why would Nike do some kind of rewards program? They only care about the $$$. Why would they basically lose money with some kind of discounts when their merchandise is selling out at full retail price? Makes no good business sense right now..

They have tons of stuff on clearance just like their third party retailers.

I don't think they do enough to reward their loyal customers.

Then apparently you and Nike disagree. Right now, their sales are at an all time high... from a business standpoint a loyalty program just doesn't make good sense IMO.

If Nike's sales started to slip even just a tad, I'm sure they'll just make even more shoes limited than there is now.

Your first sentence had your answer.

This. Plus the programs out there for the most part aren't that great especially when sites like finishline and footlocker don't offer free shipping for hot releases.
