NT: Buyers who flake on NT need to be penalized or something (PICS)

Not interested in the sneaks you posted OP, but you're A okay in my book if you're selling for retail + expenses to help bros out
nthat.gif

That's rare. I did a lot of buying in the old NT buy/sell because it seemed liked a lot of dudes were like yourself in that they were only interested in making their money back. Now the majority of the classified is retail + $100 <

Gotta love NT. Always

OP I need a connect like you, retail+shipping is a rarity these days. Also, flaking is part of the culture, sad but true, life can get in the way sometimes.

That's not always the case with him though
This statement is 100% true. However, I also make sure I do take time and help out NTers when I can.

Just giving you a hard time fam  I can vouch for you as a seller and the majority of the time your prices are on point.

Vegeta only became Super Sayian after admitting defeat and practically giving up. You'll find a buyer b. If Vegeta—the prince of all Sayians—could evolve, you'll find a buyer.

This right here is sig worthy!

srs though, I WISH I had known about those Shadow 1s.

To be honest, as soon as you asked me to send payment as gift I would of just deaded the conversation.

Also, why are the prices on the Buy/Sell forum so outlandish? Some of those prices are highballs to the max.

I deal with this every time I sell something on craigslist and even eBay with all the messages, not sure what the big deal is.

Also we all seen people get shafted even by popular NTers before so gift probably wasn't an option.

They're high for 3 reasons.

1.  The seller is a true reseller and is looking to price gouge/take advantage of a hyped shoe.

2.  The seller is an idiot and thinks that just because they've held onto a shoe for a few years that it deserves a super high markup.

3.  The B/S forum is full of lowballers.  You almost HAVE to price high because nowadays everyone wants to bargain with you on your price.  I have no problem working out a price, but some dudes on here expect you to practically give your shoes away.  So the solution is to price high and say you're open to offers.  Eventually you'll find someone willing to work out a price that is fair for the buyer and seller.

Ding, ding, ding. NT is full of flakers and lowballers. I offer the shoes for retail and guys offer me $30 below retail. That's why I price high and settle lower...

Lowballers? Lol

I laugh harder at the guys who think they'll pay for college with 3 pairs of shoes with their ridiculous prices

OP,

Vet or Not, its not that easy to send my hard earned money to a stranger over the net. There will always be that thought, "AM I GOING TO GET SCAMMED".

Just move on to the next one.

Ive been on niketalk for a long and I have never purchased an item off here. THe stories people tell are a dam shame and do not want to go through all that. Majority of these youngsters dont give a dam about the other person.

All theyre thinking about is getting a free pair of shoes or free money.

By the way., Im not saying youre a scammer or a bad guy. Im just saying a lot of people sometimes do have hesitation.

Good luck selling your shoes.

Its some rediculous prices in the buy sell section. I'm talkin foolishly rediculous. I wouldn't even bother hitting the seller up if I was interested in the shoe because I'm not trying to pay what their asking or near it.

Same way its lowballers though. If you price something fair reasonable and decent you'll still get 20 cent on the dollar offers. I used to reply to rediculous lowball offers with a rude disrespectful response but I think not responding sends more of a message instead.

I never understood lowballing when the price is already more then decent though. I copped some vvvvnds 09 eggplant foams on craigslist for $145. I felt that was a great price. Called the seller and picked them up minutes after seeing the ad. We talked for a bit, he told me how he was getting offered $130, 140, and 120 for them. To me that's dumb, if the price is a great deal already someone's going to jump on them and you miss out if you wanted them because you choose to be a cheap nickel and diming lowballer.

Meh, I lowball on CL and eBay all the time and more than half the time they message me back ready to do the deal. If someone wants to sell they'll sell. Being a legit buyer these days is worth someone selling lower for you.

THIS. it's like the buyer thinks i'm a junkie and will take any offer just because I'm listing it for a fair price.

I hate lowballers like that who make insulting offers. When I was younger if they were local I used to agree to accept their offers and tell them to meet me in either Compton or watts somewhere or east New York or Brownsville when I was living in New York. When they would call me saying they were there I would just tell them "my friend told me the offer you made was a total rip off for me and that I shouldn't sell for that price. Sorry". I wouldn't do it now but it was pretty funny to do at the time.

Wow.

If you don't want to sell it, then don't. You can just say "no". Hates low ballers but is a flaker lulz.

Like I said I did it when I was younger. I wouldn't do it now. But some of the offers I would get would just be flat out rediculous. Nowadays I don't even bother responding to anything that I would interpret as a waste of time insulting offer on an item.
