Gravity. I absolutely hate movies that decide to release in 3D, but Gravity was just meant for that ****. Changed it from a movie into an experience.



Need to see this movie again btw. Been watching Emily Blunt interview videos on youtube all week lol she's so awesome :wow:

I watched it in imax 3d and again in regular. Movie is so so so much better in imax 3d. 3D without the.clarity of imax.is.trash.

Agreed on Gravity. Friend and I left that theater in awe. Never been to a movie that was an experience like that.
 
sucks that this movie isn't making money :smh:

easily my favorite summer flick thus far. only other one i'm holding hope on being better/more enjoyable is dawn of the planet of the apes.

I never watched any of her movies but Imma have to keep my eye on her from now

Saw this on Sunday and was it great. Best movie i've seen for this summer thus far.

Yeah, you definitely need to cut the writers some slack with some of the timeline/paradox stuff...how it is when you're dealing with stories like this.

Yeah it was Hollywood as that reviewer chick put. Would have been nice if they had the balls to go through with the logical ending. Still a fun ride of a movie though.

The omega was the one resurrecting the alphas whenever they died. So at the end when he killed the Omega there was no one left to resurrect him and turn back time.

If we're to believe that he took the Omega's power and resurrected himself, then if the Omega has that power, wouldn't it have been able to turn back the clock and resurrect itself in the first place to before he killed it?

If the reason is because the Omega was dead so he can't turn time back, wasn't Cage dead also? Very much so...

Even if we ignore all of that, it was explained that the Omega was turning the clock back to restart the day. How did he turn the clock back 2 or so days to before he was ever arrested?
 
if I'm to understand, the Omega bled out his power before everything exploded. The power transferred to Cage who has exclusive rights to the power now. Not sure why he reset to the helicopter out of all the days though.
 
He reset to the chopper because the war had already been won so the colonel didnt need him to fight in the trenches anymore. So in essence, it was like they never had that meeting in the beginning of the film.

Which makes sense, but that's just it...the war wasn't over until Cruise killed the alien at the end. The question is; why did the alien's death jump back two days when the reset happened, instead of everything simply starting over again? ....Why didn't the alien reset the day before Cruise even got a chance to kill it, for that matter? All questions aside...I'm happy with the ending, even if it's confusing. I'd rather have it like it is and not completely make sense then have Cruise die and get a simple, straight forward ending. Cruise/Blunt reunion :smokin
