I think in regards to pacific rim, we said the fighting robots were cool but everything else was meh. Plot was as nt'ers like to say, awg or mediocre.
Kinda interested since this movie has got good reviews but don't want to support crazy tom cruise's movies with money. Will watch when available for download.

Emily Blunt 
Similar to how I bought that Linda Hamilton in T2 was a badass I bought that she was this sword swinging badass that can operate these body weapon machines with ease. The fact that she's attractive is icing on the cake.
Tom Cruise was good as well, I enjoyed how his character had an arc throughout the entire film.
When Bill Paxton showed up on screen I couldn't help but think of his character in Aliens

This movie exceeded my EVERY expectation.
The previews were total misdirection. They literally gave away only about 3% of the movie.
Just watched it online and now Im ready to go see it in either IMAX or 3D.
It really is that good.

Man, this movie was honestly one of my favorite films I have seen in years. As others have said, the previews threw me off as well but wow it straight up exceeded all my expectations. It just had everything. My favorite part of it personally was its originality, it's just such a fresh film.

Watched it earlier. Highly recommended. Cant believe its bombing in the box office. People just want to watch the same rehashed Marvel movies

Great movie. Love the way it was executed. Tom Cruise wasn't doing his usual Tom Cruise stuff. Emily Blunt was hot as hell. The story is great as well. Extremely refreshing to go into an action movie and NOT knowing the plot/ending.

The movie was awesome, but I think Tom Cruise's career is over. He's just not a draw domestically.
I think the marketing department needs to be fired too.
Emily Blunt was great. After seeing how bad *** she was in this, I think she should've been the one casted as Wonder Woman instead of Gadot.
