Nick Cannon goes White Face for an album...thoughts?

Everyone hates Nick cannon. Lol

I personally don't dislike the guy.

I think he's a smart guy that has been able to navigate the entertainment industry...

Got a rich fine wife and seems like a fun dude.

QFT.

LIke you, I'm in the minority by admitting that I never hated Nick Cannon. Personally I thought and still think he is shining example of smart young A.A man who has successfully navigated the entertainment industry. Dude is super talented and multifaceted--and has reaped the benefits of his variable but incessant hustle.

It's exactly for the aforementioned reason, though, why I have an issue with what he did.

This white-face gimmick/stunt is sooo beneath him. Seriously, I can't understand why someone as successful as him--in this stage of his career-- would commit to trite and tripe characterizations to promote music. This is the thing that has rustled my jimmies that most.

This is a stupid and corny idea that someone who considers himself a "mogul" shouldn't have engaged in.

I really like this.

I want Nick to get really angry and start talking about how White people are just waaaayyy too sensitive about race. I mean, it's a joke after all. Get over it!

He should make a statement like "I'm sorry that some weak minded, sensitive people were offended by my hilarious and innocent joke. Some people can't take humor, I guess. I'm just exercising my 1st Amendment right as a proud American. Unfortunately there are people out there who just get offended at ANYTHING and are always looking for things to complain about and call racist."

Easily the best post in this thread.

I was looking on iTunes for the album

I forgot about that Gigilo song with R Kelly; god that was bad

I just listened to the 3 songs that you can listen; good lord they are bad

Sounds like LMFAO

The only thing offensive about it is the #creamcheeseeating hashtag that stuff is disgusting.

that cover though. I caint eem believe this ****.

I'm gonna buy this album to support Nick though not srs

It's Nick Cannon. No one will get offended because it's Nick Cannon. On a side note....Mariah Carey is worth 500 million:wow: And some of you think Nick is losing? Man, I'm out of touch.

Have you read some of the comments on various media/news outlets,lol...
You would think he was the second coming of Huey Newton with some of the comments I've read...

Some people like to use social media as a tool to say the most outlandish crap possible, in hopes of being quoted, retweeted, etc. It's freaking Nick Cannon

People need to chill with the "hate" and "losing" talk. I don't rly see anyone saying all that in there, Nick Cannon is clearly doing well for himself....but the question is how? What obscure country keeps tuning into watch Wildin Out?

I know he's the chairman of teen Nick and owns a couple companies, I think one is a production company or something.
