im posting from my phone so if someone can post pics to help out, ill edit when i get home

for some reason this movie has hella A list actors in it but was released in Korea first and is already on DVD/Bluray....online

its set for a U.S. release in June 2014

the studios probably thought it would bomb, but once they saw it doubled its budget they decided to green light it for the states

anyway,
it was an okay movie. not great but not horrible either.

i love anything sci-fi so im biased

i mean, i watched the whole thing so it didn't completely suck. some of the visuals were nice. the main fight scene was kinda cool - especially the new years countdown.

the anticipation and reveal of what was behind the door of each car was cool and kept me watching, especially to see them get to the end

that aquarium car tho? wow.

i saw online that its based off a comic book series where they showed many more cars (like a livestock or zoo car) but couldnt put it in the movie.

yeah, that axe fighting scene was just absurd
as well as the shooting through the windows one....but eh, its a movie

Saw it a couple weeks ago. I liked it. Good action, interesting plot. Entertaining if nothing else

I was actually surprised when it popped up for download a few days ago because the film hasn't released in the US.

I've downloaded it but haven't watched, not in a rush to see it though.

Watched it last week online. I got one question though....

Toward the end, the asian hacker dude was talking to Curtis in a different language and there was like 3 or 4 minutes that I didn't understand anything dude was saying...

Was there supposed to be subtitles at that part? I don't know if it is because it was a foreign film or if I just watched a bad stream but I was expecting some subtitles lol

From Gizmodo:
Snowpiercer looks like a badass movie. Like if Blade Runner had sex with Speed. The sci-fi film has great reviews, an intriguing plot about hardscrabble future people engaging in class warfare on a really fast cold-weather train, and Tilda Swinton. But with a limited theatrical release, it hasn't been very easy to see. That's about to change. Today, Snowpiercer will be available on video-on-demand, expanding its potential audience to millions of cable-subscribing Americans.

i watched this last weekend... it was coo
the ending had me confused... but other than that... it kinda reminded me of that one movie with the mocking jay girl... i'm having a blonde moment right now and i can't think of that name

This! We probably watched the same stream

I didn't understand why in some scenes they would use the translator machine, and then completely disregard it in others. Felt like that last scene was important, and he didn't even use it

Watched it a couple weeks ago enjoyed it.

The bugs part tho :x :x :x

Read somewhere that the NA distributor wanted 20 min cut but Bong refused so there was a slight delay.

Saw it a while back and only finished it because I starte watching it. I don't think the movie was good but it was tolerable.

the concept is really cool.

solid watch, alot better than whats been coming out in theaters recently.

not bad at all, shot well, decent acting, great concept.

don't care if it was based on a graphic novel, a story from the bible or actual events. a crappy movie is a crappy movie.

i honestly dont understand his rant when he didnt say anything that wasnt said in the title post.

further,
the movie obviously had issues if the studio was scared to release it in the states. (something i also said above)
the only reason the studio gave a damn about this movie after its Korean release is because it made a surprising profit doubling its budget

im still curious to see what editing they did for the US release

but not curious enough to download and watch again

A co-worker raved about this movie, after we both came across "the raid(s)". This movie is a steaming pile of whatever crap, craps. The first half of the movie isnt even watchable.

Wow you guyd are being so stupi. The movie was released in Korea just a bit early because those were the directors terms because he wanted it released in his home country first.

Seconds, the movie and followed the comic book perfectly including the exagerations and the fighting scenes.

Third, this is a scifi movie like I said befors that's how these movies are.

To the idiot that said it's a crappy movie Im guessing you thought that piece of **** transformers was amazing right? Let me guess, your a hypebeast who likes fast hondas.

So stop complaining and read the graphic novel. Its an adaptation the director is obviously not going to disrespect the french dude who wrote it and change everything that would be stupid.
