Wade LeBlanc was not on the lineup card as a reliever Monday, but Mike Scioscia said he was available out of the bullpen. The Angels haven’t announced Thursday’s starter, but LeBlanc is the likely choice…
Hector Santiago was roughed up for five runs and eight hits in 2 -2/3 innings in his first outing for Salt Lake City on Sunday. Scioscia said the reports were that Santiago was “erratic. It’s a work in progress. He’s not just going to snap back into it.”

SEATTLE – Josh Hamilton has a new injury now. The good news is, it’s not a serious one.
Hamilton, who was days from being back after undergoing left thumb surgery, now has a bone bruise on the same thumb, the result of getting jammed in his first rehab game on Thursday.
Hamilton, who traveled from Salt Lake City to Seattle to be evaluated by the medical staff, said Monday he expects to be taking batting practice again by Wednesday. He could then resume his rehab assignment within a few days.

Sucks that Hamilton had the little set back. Would of liked to have him back for the A's series.

Over the weekend I heard Matt Vasgeridjwidjsiaian say Weaver's the oldest tenured Angel? I still remember when he got called up and won like his first 6 starts or so.

Time flies.

Hope the team isn't looking ahead like me but I can't wait for the Oakland series.
