I always get nervous seeing my teams celebrate anything before an actual Championship.

Like, I get nervous a little of the hunger got lost in during the celebration. You know?

Guess it's from when I was a kid and heard a story of Magic celebrating the Lakers winning the division, and Kareem telling him "We celebrate championships here, kid."

kinda had a feeling this squad was special the way they were dumping gatorade after someone EVERY game

they got that chemistry IDK where the hell it came from. Perhaps power struggle between Pujols and Hunter was real.

Definitely think we're a better team without Josh. Don't know if it's chemistry but I could definitely see it. He's a headcase. Dude should really consider hanging it up and just focus on keeping his life together.


I can't be the only one pissed about blatantly giving this game away tonight? We don't have a big enough lead over Baltimore to be doing this just yet. Then again, the starters were probably hungover as hell this morning

Eh not too mad ab the game tonight they almost pulled it off with the B team haha. They'll be back in there tomorrow they need to wrap up home field for the entire playoffs

The ONE thing that is good about the Angels playing the Mariners is that I can watch the games locally

 (cuz Alaska is Mariners everything).

Im assuming so , the players frequent this bar my buddy works at (even on nights where they have a 1pm game the following day sometimes) and sure enough Weav, Trout and Aybar were there. Theres no way they got there before 1am, i was watching the celebration and it was still going on around midnight

Angels struggling the past weekend and yesterday..  Not a good feeling.  They need to play like they were before they clinched to get some momentum going into the postseason.  

CJ has to fix things, and fix things fast.  If Cj is not on, i'd rather have Rasmus start a game in the ALDS lol

^ One side of me agrees w/ you. Keep the momentum going, and play like we haven't won anything.

Other side of me hopes the falloff is intentional, like a couple weeks off before the postseason, because once the postseason starts, you take a weekend off and you're done.

I think it's more just, the guys know we've clinched the division, so the games aren't important other than just staying in the swing of things (pun intended). I think (hope) they know they're not playing super hard because they know these games aren't earning us anything.

Top spot in the AL is all we're gunning for.

Homefield throughout the Postseason

Was able to make it out to Safeco last night. Dope stadium, I wish they had the roof open though. Would have been awesome to kill the M's playoff hopes with a blown save from Rodney.
