they never do that. they hold pairs so usually half the sizes are gone by the time they open up.  with how cold it is you might be able to get to the store round 10:50 and get a decent spot

I'd just be patient. Sneakers I wanted and didn't think I'd get seem to fall into my lap when I least expect it and I've never had to pay above retail.
