** The Diadora Thread ** - Concepts "Rat Pack" N9000

Personally, I don't blame overseas boutiques for not giving a ****, especially when it comes to the initial release of their shoe.  First dibs should go to the locals.  And hell, 9 times outta 10 us heads in the states get more opportunities to buy the shoe than anyone else.  I totally understand why server strength isn't their concern.  At the end of the day, out-of-towners only show up for hyped drops.  It's the locals that really help pay their bills and keep their doors open year round.

I'd say in general European stores tend to cater to overseas customers more than American stores do it the other way round. But the sneaker culture here is different from sneaker culture in the US. Most stores rely on their regular customers, raffles didn't use to be a thing here until very recently etc.

But Iwhat you shouldn't forget is that solebox is a rather small boutique, even considering their new. bigger location. I don't know about the Munich store that just opened but I reckon it's probably also small. Comparing them to Supreme, who are a much larger scale business (and sort of a fashion company by now) is not fair to them. Their closer to West NYC or some other boutique that mostly bases its business model on instore purchases.

I quite like SB and I go there eyery time I'm in Berlin. Hikmet and his brothers are always very friendly and the other staff that works there know their stuff but are always helpful rather than giving people attitude like it sometimes happens in other stores that have this kind of reputation. I don't think you can blame SB for simply not having enough pairs for eyeryone who wanted one. If we're honest, the smaller production numbers are one of the things (among many others) that are cool about Diadora.

Hey guys has anyone had the dye from the tongue of the Transit IIs come off on the white and yellow liner under the lace holes?

Received my pair and noticed there were these stains. Just wanted to know if it was something unavoidable.

Can't say I have that problem myself. Although I haven't wore my worn pair that much

Pics always help but i think i know what you are talking about. I don't own the transit IIs unfortunately but I have had it happen with other shoes where the tongue constantly rubs on a lighter colored lining and some color transfers.

Not even about to stunt. I came in this thread for laughs and then I saw some of the color ways on the first page and was shocked. These aren't that bad!

its white leather rubbing constantly against bright blue leather....what do you think will happen with time?

they sold-out instore?

i think so....after they went through the official campout-list, some people were def able to get more pairs.

a friend of mine and his gf copped their pairs, and were able to hook-up 3 more people  (lucky me) who could not attend the campout in berlin or munich.

but i have to say all of those 3 people are very close to solebox, so i dont know if it was that easy for everybody....

Do we know for sure this weekend is the ww release for the Castellers? A few people have said this im just curious if we know for sure.
