Collabs they've been that way for me. GRs, no; too tight length wise, I had to stay TTS in the "green box" N9000s and .5 down in collabs.

You're not talking about the $200 made in Italy GRs are you? I'm asking bc I'm not sure if they come in the green or black box.

I honestly haven't purchased many pairs of Diadora, since pretty much since the Purple Tape time frame. Then, i don't think shops had many, if any "special boxes".  Think you got the standard black for handmade Italian and green for the GRs earlier on. That said, this was around the time Tridents and such started releasing in white boxes from Bangladesh. They were non-collabs, but at some shops were like near the $300 mark, particularly in the U.S..  Obviously shops have special boxes these days. Anyway, I linked a convo from April of '15 below. I'm sure a Diadora enthusiast will correct if I'm typing big filthy lies, and rightly so. Just purchased some Yvans at steal, so I popped back in here to see what's going on. In general, I haven't seen any newer Diadoras that have moved me enough to consider purchasing.

BTW, not sure I've seen any Italian GRs. I could be wrong, but I think those are made in other countries. Again, someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Diadora definitely makes Italian GRs, someone posted a vid of the N9000 an S8000 the other day. Retail is like $200-220. I assumed that they fit the same as Italian made collabs but I'm not sure which box they come in, so your post got me thinking but it sounds like you are talking about the $130 GRs.

You're welcome. And nah, some of the white box Tridents were like $250+. More expensive than the collabs.

These are the two made in Italy GRs so far



Edit: of the n9000. There are several s8000s. Not sure why they got the Made In Italy treatment first when a collab on that model has yet to be released..

I actually think the leather on the toe box of the Concepts might be a bit better than the Patta Italias. Hope that helps. Very similar but a bit better

Yeah my tts is actually closer to 12.5 but diadora is one of the only brands that do half sizes that big. Hopefully the sizing is the same as my other v7000 lol

Words cant express how underwhelming the Packer Azzurris are material wise in person. Even @ $130. SMH
