** The Diadora Thread ** - Concepts "Rat Pack" N9000

Why do you dudes like italias more? Better materials? Just wondering. I've never experienced any of them in person.

Also, does anyone have any info on a US release of the sombras? Maybe a store list someone could PM? I'm assuming its still a few weeks out like the sols but any info/help would be appreicated.
 
Got my Sombras in yesterday and they are spot on, really great colour blocking, overall quality, just a well put together shoe.  Wasn't double boxed but thankfully arrived in one piece.  Wish the laces were a little shorter.  Are these 52" laces? Thinking about getting some 3m ropes the same colour but in 48" if so.

you will understand only when you get them in your hands.

they do look very plain in the pics but when you see them in person they are very unique..

i don't know..this story with diadoras..all models are perfect..(i even like the milans while most people  here hate them)

Nice, I really need a pair. Hopefully I can score the sombras when they pop up for the worldwide release. I doubt I will ever own italias or sols. Resale prices on ebay are crazy on them.

try klekt and also try in the fb group for N9000..more reasonable prices..

Thanks for the info. I just took a quick look at klekt and prices are significantly better. Under $300 on there compared to $400 plus on the bay.
 
Yea ^^ in my opinion anything in the $300 range for most of the n9000s is fair for resell. After fees and shipping the seller is most likely making around $75 which isn't bad to me.
 
my first pair was the italias nice clean simple design, ever since then diadora always on my radar cant wait for upcoming 2015 releases

I think hearing some kid say it would go well with the 808's and heartbreak jacket kinda spoiled it for me at the time...now I live in regret.

Couldn't agree more. I love how Diadora haven't been afraid to mix exotic materials and different color blocking. Patta used simple color blocking a for their colabs, however, Hanon haven't been afraid of using bright colors. Shows how versatile the N9000 is and I think that's what got me excited release after release, something fresh and not knowing what to expect.

The only issue I have is their consistency of quality of materials and the toe box dent. The suede on the Hanons > Solysombras and my Sols came with a dent in the toe box.

Really looking forward to having the Solebox Ferro's in hand.

I think the suede issues, whether it be the dent or that annoying nappy shag, has to do with the fact that both kilates are pig skin suede. I could be wrong tho. The suede on first hanon pair is different and much better imo. The solebox pair looks like same suede as hanon which I'm glad about.
