I'm not talking about me, but rather the general belief among so-called sneakerheads that only limited release collabs are worth the MSRP, whereas a clean GR is not because it's not hyped. Regarding my personal purchases, you're correct. I almost NEVER pay retail for any shoe, collab or not. That also means I end up missing out on a lot of releases and buying way less sneakers than I used to. Ironically, the last kicks I paid over retail for were the Diadora Italias and the quality was so disappointing compared to the price I paid that it helped me realize I'll never pay reseller prices again.

^ I think it has more to do with GRs bring so plentiful that 99% of the time you will be able to get them on discount. And with collabs, you kinda have to strike while the iron is hot and pay that inflated MSRP to make sure you don't pay even higher resell prices later. At least that's how I see it.
Everyone is free to spend their money how they see fit, but in this age of a majorly over-saturated sneaker market and rising MSRPs, I think it's foolish to pay retail for any GR (unless you just HAVE to have them now). They always go on sale somewhere.

Cncpts has a lot of sizes of the beige sheep sold out at $160. I think it's a possibility that they sell out in a lot of places and are tough to get on disco but we will see.
