first diadora pair. it took some effort to find these at retail. the left shoe has a little toe dent, but i still love them. rope laces look great.

Packers in....(Got a pair for my boy)
"nappy" suede (soft tho but I like short/sharp suede better), the gold is dull, stiff leather...They def look better in picture than in person...
Overall they look cheap to me...Weakest N9000 collab with the Milans imo....

I still have to see them in person but that's what I was expecting. The perforated kangaroo leather just doesn't look as nice as what is on the hanons, must be because it's on so much of the shoe they didn't use quite as nice of quality. I have the Gold N9ks from earlier this month they were nice but not at the level of the hanons or italias.

My Packer's came in and while I do like them, I'm not sure if I want to keep. I agree with everything Bad Lieutenant said. They look the cheapest of the Diadoras I have (Italias, Sols, Packer). Kinda glad that the gold is toned down because they would otherwise look too close to the KFE GT II. I think my biggest gripe is that they still look very close to my GT II. Quality is certainly higher on the Packers but I personally prefer the GT II silhouette to N.9000 atm. It's a pretty stupid complaint that probably makes me sound like a Ronnie fanboy, but I don't really need two very similar shoes in my rotation. If money wasn't an issue for me though......

Wow, surprised at all the comments on the Azzurri's.... I came on to post quite the opposite. I think the materials are great, the quality is great, all around great.
My only gripe is that I sized a half down, to my usual 997/998 size 9, and they still fit a bit roomy.
But the shoe itself I'm completely satisfied with.

I still want them, I'll save my final opinion for when I actually can see them in hand. If someone will sell to me close to retail I'll add them to the collection. Untill then I'm listing them on the lower end of the list. No N9000 colab has been bad even the 2nd Pattas, that everyone list as there least favorite, are fire and very wearable so being on the end of the list isn't bad yet. Hopefully no ugly N9000 colabs this year lol.

My guess would be the 21st or the 28th of this month... With diadora the WW is always around 4 weeks or a month after the initial release

I just got my Packers in and I'm more than pleased with the shoe. What I'm not pleased with is the crappy packaging. I'm not sure if UPS F'd up the original packaging and then just threw it into some square box which by the way had laces in the box and not the shoe box if that makes any sense. BTW how many pairs of extra laces is this supposed to come with? I just got a pair of whites extra. Which is fine if that what I'm supposed to have. But my pair at least is top notch Quality and craftsmanship. again Very pleased!

yea when i saw the box i was like wtf because the diadora shoe box isn't huge, only white laces came in extra and of course the sticker. the first thing i noticed when i opened the box was the smell of the leather. the shoe it self the leather was nice however i noticed some fading on the suede around the toe box and I agree about the gold being too dull which makes it look a bit cheap. deft ranks the lowest when compared to other collabs.
