Also, does anyone know how to rid of a mark like this? My second pair of sol's came like this and I can't seem to get rid of the mark... The suede also seems to be a lot more hairy on one side of the show than the other

Just a tip for anyone ordering 24 Kilate's future releases. If you checkout and finish your paypal payment, but don't receive a confirmation email (probably due to crappy server). You will have to checkout again. Unfortunately they sold out of my size before I could do that.

It took over 2 weeks just to get a response for a refund. I should have just filed a paypal dispute on the spot to get their attention faster.

I'm not too bummed about missing out on the Sombra. Having a pair of Sol and Italia will hold me over. Also managed to snag a pair of ASICS SurrEDaliste, so I got that going for me haha.

Sombra > sol... Sombras are seriously nice, and I got a pair with no dents! Unique colourway too, especially in my collection!

Honestly it's BS imo. I've seen 3 pairs in person and they all are flawed. For such a high price, the shoes should be perfect. I'm selling or trading my pair and boycotting this release.

Yep, I sent countless emails that went unanswered. I was very polite in all of them.

 

Then I saw that the store manager is answering is emails. That pissed me off since I sent one on the 13th, 16th, and 19th. Never received a response.

Glad I didn't buy a phone card to call the store. I went ahead and filed a PayPal claim today. I guess that got them shook cause they refunded my money within an hour.

I guess it's luck of the draw because I've had nothing short of a positive experience from 24k. No dents in either of my shoes, the Sol's suede was a bit fuzzy, but whatever. Received Sol's in 4 days from shipment, Sombra's in 3 days from shipment, and they answered all of my emails within a day. The only negative is when they didn't double box for the Sombra's..smh box was thrashed.

Sombras came in today and they are beautiful!
And the box wasn't damaged, which was a huge surprise!
After seeing the beauty that was the sombras, found a pair of sols on ebay....i pulled the trigger...

Haven't got my Sombras in so i can't compare, but so far it's definitely Italias > Sols.

Regardless, both shoes are still must cops for me.

Don't know why i even bother ranking them.
