State Senator arrested for corruption

Are people still surprised by these kind of events, any human can be swayed to do anything. Hell jesus and judas. Mothers and fathers leaving there kids to go party. Parents selling their kids off in marriges. Humans are very weird creatures man. We are capable of the best things and also the worst possible.

it's funny because this cat was one of the most vocal politicians in the crusade against violent videogames. It's wild that he's actually a GTA character.

He's also the former representative for my neighborhood.

I think it's surprising because elected officials are supposed to be the best of people, the ones who are to be immune to indulging in there desires. If this was a school teacher or even a businessman I doubt people would be as surprised, this Yee guy turned democracy on its heels.

There is no democracy in California. the system was run over by the Bay Area political machine 2 decades ago. Just try to find a statewide officeholder that's not from the Bay Area. Even the Minority leader of Congress & the two U.S. Senators are from San Francisco. They're on the "best of people", just the ones who have played to the party bosses the best.
