The Purge: Anarchy In Theaters July 18th, 2014 vol. Is Definitely better than the first movie!!!!

Gf made me watch this, I hated the first one (was legit angry leavin the theater :rofl:) and she paid so :lol:...that being said it was better than the OG but still not very good, the whole premise is kinda dumb but they executed it better in this one. Lead guy was cool and the waitress' daughter I guess :-/

I'll give it a 6.5 Again the concept is so good but the execution is really lacking. I started questioning a lot in the beginning but then decided to treat it as those B films (like those grindhouse movies) and tried to enjoy the ride.

Pretty bad acting but at least Omar from the wire made a cameo.

Hoping third time is the charm for this concept.
 
You pretty much knew what was gonna happen during the last 30 minutes but great movie.
 
This movie was messed up but I really liked it and it's way better than the first. This definitely was what the first movie was suppose to. I have questions about the ending tho
 
OMG!!! This movie was AWESOME!!!! I loved it! I don't want to spoil but if you have time go see it. I can't wait for the next one.

I put a video in the spoiler that has Michael K Williams talking about his character and where the movie may be going.

DO NOT WATCH IT UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE!

Ive only seen the 2nd one but plan on watching the 1st before I make opinion which is better.

Conceptually speaking I thought it was a great movie but not a must see movie or one that will be remembered beyond next week.

The topic of classism which IMO was the underlying focus of the movie wasnt expounded enough until the last scene of the movie.

This is a movie that is great if your expectations isnt high and you have 2hrs to kill during the week or matinee not full price value.

The 1st one was so trash, that it made this one decent. :lol:

My advice, wait until it comes out on DVD next month.
 
Not a good movie, just an OK way to kill time. Pretty much The Hunger Games for adults

Didn't think it was all that actually. Seen both and this one was better but to me it feels like they could do soooo much more with this concept. 

Still a decent movie...and god damn that lil ***** was annoying as ****
 
I loved it. And I knew I would too because I liked the first one. ;D

You wanna talk waste of time tho? Lucy was hot trash.
