Taimak would be LeRoy's master.
Busta Rhymes as Sho Nuff
Chris Brown as LeRoy(Gotta give my co-worker credit for that one. GENIUS)
Ernie Reyes Jr plays the same role, just older.

I agree about the Chris Brown casting. I don't think it would work because of all the things he's been going through personally. Taimak was basically unknown and there was an innocence to Leroy's character. Although I don't have any issue with Chris Brown, that type of character might be a tough sell for some. And you forgot the most important part of your cast, who is going to be Laura Charles and Leroy's brother?

I'd put Chris Brown as the scarecrow in a remake of the Wiz. I can't see anyone else doing it on that level.

His first one was decent. I think he deliberately made the second one almost unwatchable lol

It wasn't as good as the first be I wouldn't say unwatchable. It took things in a more sadistic route and I thought it was actually ok. I'm a huge horror movie fan so maybe that's why.

Evil dead remake was also a good watch

Top Gun was the first thing that came to mind, but I'd almost rather it not be attempted. That movie was was great then, now and will be 20 years from now.

Back to the Future holds a lot of nostalgic value as well, but I think the special effects today and a different view of the future could make for a great movie. It would probably be a darker more intense version.

Rambo?

Let's just run through the 80's and remake it. Then when we're done doing that, let's do the 90s. Time to ruin Home Alone

Rocky series (I-IV).

Obviously it wouldn't be true to the original, It would be modernized. It should use more realistic fight physics. But basically the same story, using a young male lead. Maybe Sly could be his trainer this time around (no Mickey, sorry Mick).

But basically the same story, journeyman boxer everyone sleeps on. From Philly, nobody gives the kid a chance. Champ wants an easy fight (hey, nowadays it happens all the time, Champs duck true contenders for somewhat notable journeymen). And finds out the hard way Rock ain't no bum.

Ionno, might be dope. Don't lie man, first time you watched Rocky as a kid you got hyped as hell.

Star Wars. C'mon, they can find a kid to play Skywalker better than Mark freakin' Hamill ever did.

First time as a kid?!

Man, the first four Rocky movies still get me hype. I don't want a remake though. The crap budget is what made that first movie half as great as it was. Hungry actors and methodical filming. It just wouldn't be the same. There's only one Rocky Balboa and it's Sylvester Stallone.

No.

Half the reason the rocky series is what it is, is the actors.
