New Michael Jackson Album "Xscape" OUT NOW!

Listened to it, and I really like it. I'm glad that Timbaland didn't Timbaland this album. It stayed true to MJ's style for the most part.

Pumped to see the good reviews. Hopefully this isn't a case of the typical NT prisoner of the moment hype when it comes to music though.

Will definitely be purchasing this off the strength of it being MJ.

Love Never Felt So Good is great, the rest is mediocre, filler or just plain bad

Some of the writing is laughable

Album is fire. One of the best posthumous albums released. Will definitely be buying a physical copy.

I'm sorry. I missed this. No Pharrell on this.

There's Timbaland production. J-Roc did some as well. Darkchild is the only one who worked on the original track as well as the remixed one on the album.

I can see where MJ purists may not like this album. But I think if Mike were still with us, his sound would've progressed to this.

I'm not the least bit mad about it. Sounds good to my ears.

he's gone now---but honestly how did this NOT happen??? I mean Pharrell spends every waking moment trying to emulate Mike.... and it's not like Pharell wasn't one of the hottest producers in the game when he was alive.

Did he just not LIKE the dude?? I wonder if any industry heads have some insight on this.

I remember that a bunch of Justin's "Justified" stuff was for MJ, and MJ even approached him saying that songs should've been his. From what I've read, it was people in MJ's camp that turned P's stuff down.

I liked this album about as much as I like the Michael album. I feel like Hold My Hand and Behind the Mask are better than anything on this so far but Michael had unlistenable tracks on it. I like A Place With No Name but that's mainly because it's Leave Me Alone.

I was hoping it would be better but it's just ok to me.

i would've loved to have heard some pharrell work on this album as well... P's style would blend perfectly with MJ's imo.

this album was very good though (& im always on the fence with posthumous work).

the OG version of love never felt so good :wow: :wow:

chicago :pimp: :pimp:

Gave the album a listen and I agree it's very good. Crazy to think this album would come out so long after he passed away...and Chicago is :pimp:

Man this album is amazing.. lol Mike's throwaway songs are better than most of today's artist albums.

So there's no confusion about who's voice it is on these tracks like here was on Michael?

That was the main reason I neither bought nor downloaded that one. I swear that song where "he's" saying something about ppl talking about Michael Jackson is not him :\, the lyrics & vocals give me pause.

I've loved what I've heard so far from Xscape though (already heard some of the originals).

I prob need to give it more listens, but Chicago is the only song with any lasting impression off this album. Repeat button abuse.

Album is dope, I was expecting it to be filler tracks but I can't stop listening to it,
